Totally agree! Being 40…CCR was passed down to me by the previous generation and I’ve passed CCR down to my kids. That’s what I love so much about music…we take the music that’s tied to memories or that influenced us and then it’s passed down to the next generation and so on. It’s how songs and artists stay alive through history 😊♥️

I think it’s a must to be open to discovering new music because you never know what’s going to hit you or speak to you…plus it makes car rides much more enjoyable when you all agree on songs to play 😉 I absolutely love what they did with this song and I think John Fogerty would be pleased as well. I had the privilege of seeing him front row center in Vegas and became emotional through quite a few songs. His voice does that to me ♥️

I am so sorry about your dad's stroke. My daddy had one 7 years ago. Took his speech and ability to walk but thank God he knows us and had still has his sense of humor and So thankful he is still here and cherish each second. He is the greatest man I know. Praying for your dad and family!

Yep 5 yrs taken away from you gives you a lot of TIME to assess what you could have done differently and formulate a plan on how to make it up to the ones you love. Being a father of 5 kids and coming from poverty I can tell you the temptation of "fast money" to better the lives of your family is easy to give in to when the slow and difficult nose to the grindstone money sometimes won't even cover the rent and utilities. God bless you brother. Congratulations on what you have achieved with your music and your family. A lot of us can look to you for inspiration to just keep on pressing on and keep our heads up
