0:16 Is such a nice touch! The fact he casually hits the side of his helmet to fix the problem really gives them that extra bit of detail and love that makes them alive. Thanks for the video!
The way he does it instinctively too makes it seem like it’s a problem he’s aware of and frequently fixes, didn’t get hung up on it all and made a big piece about it, excellent animation 10/10
I was half expecting them to successfully roll it only for the AT-ST to defy the laws of physics and kick it back, but them arguing until it explodes is such a classic trope.
0:21 Love how it says, "Ours Now." XD Also, it's amusing that they sound less like they're in a tense situation but, more just another day on the job, haha! And just realized the rebel was holding a rock hand signal. XD Also the little distortion when he was cut off and had to hit his helmet again is a very nice touch.
@@balashibuyeeter2704 I searched it up, they are a branch of the Coruscant Guard during the clone wars and were used on Coruscant to crush insurgents and police the galactic capital.
And with that, the entire structure collapsed, burying both the Rebel invaders and the few Troopers left inside. Through the sacrifice of those brave, loyal soldiers, the Senator and the bulk of the Empire forces that had been stationed within the stronghold were able to escape. May their efforts never be forgotten.
@@Meaty_Aberration Maybe they meant that instead of giving the hijacked AT-ST a new paint job as if it came out of a factory, it looks like a rebel with a can of spray paint spent a minute with it in their free time after they stole it.
The "Deskpop" and the whole "Smacks helmet to fix audio" issues are BEAUTIFUL little details that humanise these characters brilliantly. Subtle visual storytelling.
As much as I do appreciate the new 3d body suit models of Russian Badger the stop motion animations are what made me laugh the most. Hoot has that same charm if not better with his animations plus his humor really brings it home. I do like the raised production quality, but if it wasn't stop motion I think I might lose interest.
Okay, so im usually an empire nut, down with rebel scum and all that. But id kill for Star Wars to have more ragtag things like the AT-ST being repurposed by rebellion. The war paint and "Ours now!" are such cool touches to it. And yeah, theres not really any reason the rebels wouldnt steal empire equipment if they can. I know they're backed by a bunch of other governments, so they aren't just guerillas with a dream, but still. Its why when i play the classoc Battlefront games i always make a point to steal AT-STs when i can if i ever play Rebels.
The amount of detail and subtle things you do in your shorts is phenomenal!! I love the little details like the comms check or the discharge of the blaster when he has no trigger discipline. I love it!!!
Idk if Hoot made a mistake but I swear I saw the "tube" (wich is on the back of the armor) in the Clone Wars Series being used as a grenade. And the trooper sayd he had no grenades left. But the animation itself was funny as always.
hoot i gotta say we need more of this perfection … the small funny details always kill me .. the accidental discharge was great and the voice acting so spot on
I love how these weapons developments occur in various universes, implying that no matter universe the people who make the weapons are all compensating for something
I love the tiny details in this knocking his helmet to fix his wonky audio at 0:17 or the accidental fire and removing his finger from the trigger at 0:25
Fuck I didn’t expect it to go off mid sentence that, caught me off guard 😂 I was ready for like 8 more minutes of them trying to figure out how to get it up the stairs I was so hooked lol amazing job as always!
The last talk sounds like me and my friend when we puted land mines around a house and then realising theres a tank coming or a helicopter coming in Farcry 4 and we were like "MAN WHOS IDEA WAS THIS TO PUT MINES HERE?" "BRO IT WAS YOUR IDEA TO PUT THE MINES TO PROTECT OUR SELFS!" "WELL GOOD JOB BRANIAC NOW WERE GONNA "FOCKING DIE" XD XD
BIG Foregrip: literally produces energy to maintain position in space and hover BIG Grenade: weighs too much to move, except during its delivery of course :)
