I made many project bags for Christmas presents and took all the scraps and cut them into 1 1/2 inch strips for the memory quilt I am working on. I love a tidy sewing space. Also tidied my 4 main sewing drawers that hold my sewing supplies.

I do like seeing the setting process as you are working through. I have done block-a-month blocks from my local quilt shop. I never use the setting given at the end, so I have to play around with finishing.

Binding a baby quilt for my neighbor. That will probably be my last big finish for 2020, then tidy up the dining room for Christmas! Will do some charity sewing after Christmas with those left over jelly roll strips. Love the elephant block in your MP. Very cute! Merry Christmas!!

As usual I am behind watching videos on day off. Tidying up my kitchen table sewing space if I want to have Christmas Dinner...just me and my Daughter plus 3 kids that are here all the time. Merry Christmas everyone

I quilted for 14+hours yesterday. Finished 3 Christmas presents. Now to wrap everything today....then we're done and ready. Next week after Christmas decorations are put away, the craft room will get cleaned uo... Hopefully the book case will be put together too.

I did tidy up yesterday because I thought like you, I need to clean up this room.... Anyway it helps my thought process. I love the elephant, you must have fussy cut because it looks like you put the fabric to resemble an eye. Good work. Morrison Park Paisley was made for that elephant. Keep being energetic I love it. Move all you want.

I finished my last Sewing gift Sunday and I tidied up. Felt good. After Christmas I will sort and put away the “Christmas only themed “ fabrics and put back the red and greens that can be used for everything in their proper places. I actually enjoy that part of the process.

I’m busy finishing an I spy quilt for Christmas. Yes, scrambling crazy time. But with your organizing reminders the past months, my sewing room is organized and easy to keep tidy. One project out and everything else in their spot. Feels great!

I put my borders on based on the best use of the fabric I have . It’s amazing how many people think there is one certain order to put borders on . I have several friends that claim it weakens the quilt if you put the top and bottom borders on first . I have no idea what that means but they swear by it

Pat as the year is coming to an end I just want to tell you how much I appreciated being able to see you everyday. Even when you broke your wrists you still did your videos, you made sure we were able to see you! The year was a mess, we had to give up a lot, but your videos kept us going. As to the thread matching the binding - yes the thread will match the front. If if doing it by machine, I will use thread to match the back of the quilt because the the stitching usually doesn't stay on the binding 🙄

I cleaned up my whole sewing room. I couldn’t find a couple things so go course that lead to pulled everything out and searching. Which lead to reorganizing and cleaning. I did find what I was looking for 🥳 and am looking forward to diving into projects new and old after Christmas. But for now I’m keeping it clean lol.
