Thank you very much. I have a couple of new Haven videos this year. I hope to one day have visited all of them.

This is how I feel about Butlins, I wish I had more footage of how it looked back then, so I could compare. It will be interesting to watch these videos back one day and remember 🙂

They do seem a little American, very bright, and they all have team spirit. My favourite show was the neon disco. I'm hoping they will have that again this year.

Where have old friends gone

Do you mean the old Seaside Squad? They had a refresh last year. From what I've seen, the old characters come out on the first night, and then the new ones are introduced on the second night - so as not to confuse the children.

@PKT585 they all have at least a fridge with an ice compartment at the top. The higher grades have separate fridge/freezers. The showtime entertainment is all included if you book the Haven breaks (not Haven Hideaway). They do have additional activities like crafting sessions that you can pay extra for. Swimming is also included.

Thank you. We have a collection of different umbrellas now, you kind of need all weather gear for UK holidays. It could be snowing one day and a heatwave the next 😊

This reminds me of how much leopherd print umbrellas I had bought for my Carer Joanna Lowis as leopard print is her favourite pattern and colour and then Jo has said to me to stop burying her so many presents as I need to spend my money on myself not too much on other people

Thank you so much. We've mainly stuck to the south coast. Butlins will always be a top one for me because everything is included and its great value. For caravan parks (in no particular order), we love Seal Bay in Selsey, there's loads to do, fab pools, and the entertainment is great. Haven would either be Rockley Park or Weymouth as they are both bigger parks with plenty to do for the kids and days out nearby. My favourite Parkdean is Camber Sands, again because there is so much for the kids to do and as its a bigger park they make lots of holiday friends. My top resorts for beach holidays would be Haven Riviere or Perran Sands, both next to amazing sandy beaches - but they are a bit of a trek. Sorry, I know that's more than three, but it's so hard to pick, especially if you're looking for different things.

Yeah, we tend to find it's a repeat of the same shows at weekends that were on during the week. Except for guest entertainment, which can be more varied.

We haven't had chance to do the space bowl yet, the outdoor pool has either been closed or bad weather stopped them opening the slide. But it's on my wish list.

You need to go to settings. There are lots of RU-vid videos that will talk you through it. Also, when uploading a video, you can choose low, medium, or high control.

I like the neon/retro disco because 90s/00s music reminds me of my childhood. But you need to be a speedster sometimes to keep up with the house bingo - fun, with a smidge of crazy.

We do the same, I don't see the point in paying extra if you haven't been before because you don't always know where will be good, and you might miss a cheeky upgrade.

@@KarionTravelling yeah-allthough upgrade dont bother us as such, as long as we on top of the hill then great/as im due a hip-replacement soon after the holiday-even had to cut down on my shifts at work-as a lot of walking around as i work at the nec arena

Do you mean the Seaside Squad? I guess they're just trying to stay relevant to kids. Jess knows what they are but doesn't have the apps herself, and i only really use them now for work. At least it wasn't Snapchat 😁
