Glad all went ok , I didn’t like my MRI but like you said just get it done and that’s it !! Yep you just have to get on with it that’s mum life !!! Take care xxx
Aww, so glad you had this done claire and all went well. How good that you have shared this and your experience too. I am due in hospital myself in a few weeks and feel ever so anxious about it so even though its not gor the same procedure it still helps and is still comforting to know that we all go through things but its normally all ok , so thankyou ❤
I'm a bit late on this one Claire but I really just wanted to thank you so much for doing this video you've helped me no end as they discovered a polyp on my ultrasound this week (I've got endometriosis as well). I'm mid 40s and in perimenopause so they said it's common but I'm still scared. I see my gynaecologist in early August and my GP said it would most likely need a hysteroscopic procedure. You've helped allay my fears a bit and in the meantime I'm just going to enjoy life and forget it. Just wanted to send you a big hug ❤😊. Its so nice not to feel alone.
I have always found the ladies and even the male doctors who work in departments like this are lovely. Importantly you are well which is the main thing. My daughter had the same experience as you and she's only 20, so the worst bit for her was having her legs in stirrups, rather undignified but health is more important than dignity...although the nurses are great at helping you keep your modesty . Erin had to go back and have a cyst type thing removed so she was given anesthetic before hand that time. Claire, I can't remember what you've put as the title for the video, but if you put the name of the procedure as 1 of the 1st descriptions of the video, when someone types in the name of the procedure your video will .come up. X
You could Ask your husband to have a vacestomy i did after 3 children then you can let your body do its natural thing. Thanks for sharing this take care xx
We have spoken about it, I'm just not sure I'm ready for that haha, it's so final. But also, I'm not anyone wants to see me PMSing without the pill 😬 xx
I am totally with you when it comes to the coil that's the only form of contraception I won't try. If you are open to another form the depo injection worked amazing for me. Your so brave I'm a wimp with my smear so the thought of anything like this terrifies me ❤
I have a phone call with the Dr next week so I'll have a chat with her then. I spent the 2nd may-22nd on my period, so I don't want to carry on like that forever! Bless you, lots of women are scared of things like that. They've just never bothered me..the dentist however....xx
I’m glad it all went well for you - I had it done under general with a mirena coil fitted - I had no bleeding but omg the really bad cramps lasted well over a month - I even went to a spiritual healer to help me! I’ve not had any kids though x
I have no idea. Still need to chat with the gp about that! I'm not convinced it is gone, I was quite close to starting my period when I had the procedure done and apparently, the thicker lining of the uterus can 'hide' the polyp sometimes...so I'd like to ask the gp about it x
Hi Claire really glad everything is ok strange no polyp there but better for you i had something similar at your age as i kept getting reoccurring thrush and one of my smears showed changes they gave me an injection which was yhe most unpleasant bit then was ok bit uncomfortable but was fine after not much bleeding either always glad ehen they are over and done so good of you for sharing as will help ease people's mind take care lovely 🌹❤❤❤
If it wasn’t there when you went for the procedure then that means it fell off on its own 😊, my dr said they can do that. I had what I thought was a polyp but it turned out to be a common cervical cyst, either way nothing to worry about. It was uncomfortable & a little painful sometimes, he cauterised my cervix at the end 🤢 lol. Was feeling sorry for myself afterwards, had bad period cramps for a couple of days & bleeding for two weeks. Perfectly normal. But yeah not a fun procedure, not something I’d be rushing to have done again in my spare time haha 😂
Ooh that doesn't sound nice! I have a phone call with the Dr next week to discuss everything, because my period is still really long - over 2 weeks! Xx
