Fantastic vi go and see my sister all the The groundsman do a good job. But the roads are Rubbish Especially when you come through the main gate. Like going over speed bumps, rocking side to side, Say hello to your wife and your fantastic Team take care I forgot sid
Ey up Stuart please pass my kindest regards to Diane. I hope you're both keeping well my friend and obviously send my love to the Legend we all know as the Man With The Pram. Sir John Burkhill x
The poor state of the baby section is absolutely horrific, it should be a beautiful serene place to visit. Losing anyone is horrific but losing a child is beyond comprehension. No cemetery should allow a children's resting place to look like that.
Hi Michael could you not drummer up some volinteers and go in on a weekly basis and help the staff tidy up the cemetery. This could help build up some community spirit. Thanks for yet another fantastic video, you should make a television program on the cemeterys in Sheffield.
Councils are all like this they claim they have no money but they have millions of spare money, then they complain, it would be like me complaining about having a tatty garden and then saying i have no money i only have a million pounds in bank 😂. Spend money lazy councillors!.
The problem is the council in Sheffield know they will be voted in year after year. The only way to make a difference is to see how they feel when another party takes control
You say isn't it a shame! Mick, it's not its a disgrace and disgusting the way they are left, im not blaming the groundsmen at all but even though they try there hardest we are still having to take the strimmer up to cut the grass on mom and dad's plot at hutcliffe wood cemetery, which by the way has been flooded twice this year leaving some graves under water for days. The councillors really need to up there game , get there finger out there a*s^s and give more needed cash to the upkeep. It is so disrespectful to leave the final resting places of anyone in such a poor condition 😢
My first port of call would have to be the undertaker (if they're still in business) but seeing as this is a council run cemetery, I would try to speak to someone from the department responsible for burials and crematoriums.
Also, I would request copies of both of their death certificates from the register of births, deaths and marriages. If they attended a place of worship on a regular basis, perhaps a word with the relevant minister or clergyman might be beneficial. Hope that helps. 😁
