Hello,
My name is Debarshi Kundu, and I am a student with Asperger's Syndrome. I have encountered many unfair situations in life, been placed in and out of treatment facilities as if I am a toy, and most of all, seen things many children don't have the privilege to see. I've met people, from many different backgrounds- my clan of GT student friends, my friends who also have Asperger's, my fellow patients at the treatment centers I've attended.... the list goes on.... I've met people who are so brilliant, yet have encountered so many unfortunate situations, many of which are worse than mine. Although that doesn't make the situations I encounter ok, it is an honor to be educated with such information. After encountering so many obstacles, this is my food for thought for children with Asperger's (or any other so-called "disability") . This video is also dedicated to those people who simply fail to understand students with Asperger's Syndrome, in hopes that they see a new light.
Thank you to all those who watch this video and also try to make a difference.
Sinerely,
