Having No Horse Sense 

The plaintiff says she boarded show horses at the defendants’ facility. She says they called her one day to say her champion horse had stepped into a hole they dug, broke her neck, and died. To add insult to injury, they wanted to bury the poor horse right in that hole. She’s suing for the value of the horse, training, and cremation. The defendants claim the horse jumped right into a hole they had dug to bury another horse like she was committing suicide. They claim it was a freak accident and deny any wrongdoing.
