hi. do you have new videos of their latest games? pls. i am from the Philippines and been a UH Warrior and Wahine fan since 2003. pls.... i really want to watch the replays of their games through your channel.
Edward Waters right side attacker jumps high and hits really hard also their 17 year old left side looks really good. Their first ever NCAA match. They looked good. They will start recruiting and training more and that team would be strong in a few years. Really loving that there are many new teams added. Mens volleyball is growing nonstop. Good luck to both team.
Mahalo for uploading! And good luck to Edward Waters in their season! I'm glad they got to play Hawaii to see the level that they can strive to get to with time!
I’m happy to see new volleyball programs in the US. An HBCU team added is the perfect way to grow the game. I will be following all the new programs and wishing them the best!
Hi I was wondering if you are doing okay ? Because it has been almost a month since you last uploaded. I´m asking because I myself live abroad and have no way of watching UH volleyball tournaments beside through your channel and was REALLY counting on getting through my midterms and overall seasonal depression with these videos. However, they are nowhere to be found. So that is why I´m checking up on you. :( Hope you doing good tho
I'm glad the sport of men's volleyball is growing in the NCAA, especially on the Division One level, but I'm worried the more D1 schools open up a men's volleyball program, this will cut into recruiting and I'm scared that Manoa's men's volleyball program will loose out on the recruits they could've recruit when there were less D1 mens volleyball schools around. I'm a mixed bag on this and this is just my opinion, sorry.
I know it wouldn't have changed the end result, but don't think it would have hurt the Edward Waters head coach using some of his timeouts to let his team talk things through and get back dialed in some? I think I saw only one timeout through all 3 sets? Either way, great to see more of the Hawaii team roster!
Team in red shows a lot of potential but one of the main fixes they need is the setter. Seems he puts the ball too far ahead or behind of where it needs to be.
The guy who sang the National Anthem for this game (I think) is the best I’ve ever seen at these home games. It’s nice to hear someone do the anthem justice for once, rather than having their random Joe-blow pick of the day butcher it all the time like they usually do.
Kinda sucks that all their ace counts/stats are blowing up because they played a completely brand new noob team. There should be an * for those stats. With that said, I had always wanted to see an all-black mens volleyball team compete in college as I think they could absolutely dominate at the net with their insane high jumps. I look forward to seeing this Edwards team in the future when they are juniors/seniors and have more experience.
Why is a team like Hawaii playing a small new D3 team? Especially when there is so many others teams Hawaii could be playing. Kudos to Edward but it's really unfair. They could have played 3 other teams on the East coast for the same amout of money it took to travel to Hawaii.
They are D2 so they are like Barton,Erskine and what better way to get your school name out there then playing the big guys. They lost but imagine being a recruit and you know that there is a potential contract to play Hawaii. It’s not about money it’s about getting your name out there. And people all over the country watch Hawaii, Long Beach,BYU,OSU,Penn state
It's called "grow the game." New teams come to the top rated schools and the other way around. Many other headliners are traveling to these new teams to help the sport. It gives exposure and it helps all in the long run.
@@aina_adventurer it’s hard to grow the sport when it’s seen as woman’s sport heck I didn’t even know there was a club for boys volleyball in my city till I got to college and had already missed that chance.
