I did not like the ending at all. He left his dog that stood by him to go with Catherine. After 10 years of watching every episode I was very disappointed.
@@chrissy0868 I'm curious to know what you think was weird? I know the series ended & I liked the part of Steve being with Catherine. I thought myself, how could Steve just STOP, just like that. He was a Navy SEAL then created Five-O, both very high adrenaline jobs. It's like when Danny asked him "you're gonna walk the earth like Kung Fu"
This episode was real tough to watch and not choke up 🥺😟 Absolutely gonna miss Five-0 Congrats to everyone on the amazing 10 yrs! This ending was especially challenging to not cry
This series has been part of my life for over a decade, was a massive fan since the pilot. Yes, there was ups and down, espiecally when kono/chin left. The last few seasons felt it was grasping straws but I am glad they ended it this way, Steven finally at peace, he may lost his family but gained it at the same time. I am also glad he got together with Catherine. Catherine is his true love, they knew each before pilot and she was there from the beginning. This is one thing the show did right was to give everyone a happy ending, Steve got together win Catherine, and the team, well they have each other and their family. Only disappointed that we didn't see kamekona as he was there from the beggining.

mumihp ya I love five-0 and even though I started watch in season five and am just now watching from the beginning I hated to give up on season 10 I watched three episodes of season 10 episode 1 and 2 then just waited for the finally
Me aswell Bro, I was 9 y/o with the first Episode that camed out and now I am almost 20 years. That's a damn long time I watched this show. I watched every Season like 2-3 times at least!
I was so pleased to see Cath get on the Plane ... I didn't want Steve to leave and go it alone. Though they put their missions ahead of their love for each other these past few years, now it's TIME. I am sad, but happy too. I'm going to miss this show for a long, long time .... MAHALO .
Everytime they try to pair steve with woman.... I think of Catherine... She not main cast but her role was so strong and remarkable in Five 0... No one look good with steve... Only Catherine
Sadly they're not back as a couple 😭 . Lenkov said in a later interview she would only stay with Steve as a friend until he recovers from his PTSD and then he'd be back to Hawaii and Cath to Washington. I wish a sequel would be done as a fix-it. First, because Steve shouldn't have left with Danny still hurt. Second, because come on!!! You can't give this hopeful scene to your audience to shatter their hopes later!

@@mariawinterblue8223 I'm not necessarily for a McDanno ending (although I prefer the pairing in fanfictions). I just somehow need to know, Steve will come back to his best friend. And I personally don't like Catherine anymore since she left in season 6, so I'm definitely not a fan of this ending and would've liked to know she's only there as a friend. Personally I would have preferred Steve with Lynn if any woman.
@@uteschonmann9516 Yeah, I also got disappointed by the change un Catherine's character by that season. It's a pity, because she was one of the favourites. Even got to star some episodes. I wasn't convinced of Lynn, I'd rather have OUR Cath back, not this latter one.
I was waiting for her to appear throughout this whole season. They couldn't have ended the series in a better way. I cried during the whole episode but they did it justice.
I loved how it ended and cried like a baby however I just wish danny went inside the house with Steve instead of being on the beach whilst everyone else was inside. And it would’ve been good if grace came back to say goodbye as well.
This was not supposed to be the last season but Alex got hurt on set during the last few weeks of filming and decided not to come back for another on hearing this from Alex Scott decided that enough was enough for him to and without any of them the director didn't think the program could go on so the all called it a day
Well, I 80% agree with you there. 10% for Chin, 10% for Kono. Would really liked to see them come back to help Steve with one last case before they send him off with Catherine by his side.
It was a beautiful way to end the show. Catherine was the love of Steve's life. It was wonderful that she solved the crucial cypher. We end on a hopeful note as the plane departs Hawaii with them holding hands and you want to believe they'll go forward together!!!
It’s hard to say goodbye to the decade which also marked my young time. This is the best ending to me. Gonna miss them and miss the moments and principles through the whole series. Be kind, generous, thoughtful, and always looking the good side of a person. That’s Steve and the team taught me. Aloha!
Love this ending I have watched this show over from start to finish so many times and counting . Fabulous show love the actors and plot lines I am so happy Catherine went with him she was always just there always in the wings and stepped forward when he needed her the most !
Great show from the Original ( Jack Lord ) to the Reboot ( Alex O'Loughlin ) every episode every cast member was a pleasure to watch and ended the show with the perfect finale - Thank you to everyone who was involved with all the shows and will certainly be missed by Millions around the world - Good luck to all the cast members and mahalo

Hawaii Five-0 producers and writers had the deep understanding of Steve and Catherine's journey, love and the longing that they kept safe . Nothing will ever take away from that enjoyment . So thankful.
I still missed them so much! Still crying everytime I watched!! For me it will never ever be anyone better than the great AOL & MB as Steve & Cath. This was such a great show and how I wish I could have seen them get married & have kids.

I didn't watch the last 2 seasons because they weren't together. Now I can go back and finish because of this 1 scene. I know it's just a tv show but I wanted them together so badly and this little bit brought it together ❤
This is the scene that pissed me off the most in the entire show. I get it that they are giving Steve a happy ending, but Catherine getting to be happy with him bothered me more than it should
I really hope so too, they get together then break up later get back together then after many years they break up again and now they get back together again and this time it's forever.
When Catherine went into that tirade about the proposal while helping Steve out of the pit in the Season 8 episode you could tell she was very happy to hear that the proposal was indeed real. It told me that she eventually would come back to him.
Now it would've been classy if Steve opened his wallet and there was the close-up shot of a Hawaii Five-O badge with a RETIRED panel and an identification card to truly signify the Commander's character and show ending.
It’s really sad Hawaii five o is over now, but hopefully the characters can still appear in other shows like macgyver and the ncis shows cause they all do exist in the same universe together
