Guess they must not have nutella in Japan. It's made in Italy and distributed almost everywhere, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Europe. and many other countries. It came out in the mid 60's.
Yes Nutella is Italian, my Nonna would make it from scratch.. My dad would eat it all the time in the 40's back in Northern Italy.. So good but yet so bad! Lol!
...absolutely! Originally, Nutella was a smart solution to a tricky problem: the shortage of cocoa supplies following World War Two. Pietro Ferrero, a pastry maker from Piedmont in Italy, ingeniously created a sweet paste made from hazelnuts, sugar and just a little of the rare cocoa.
Eric because of you my son wants to try every food place here in Indio Ca. We love your Videos. Our favorite Video's are the one's with your boys. Thank you for waking my son up to eating new foods. Keep up the great video's we love them.
We finished eating during the video but... first the omelet, then the waffle and finally the donut!..I had to tell my wife to stop the video so i could go to the fridge to get something else to eat because Eric made us hungry again!! This man..
As someone that lives in Hawaii (island of Kauai) l agree that everything is a MASTERPIECE including the underwater footage of okoles (rear end in local speak!) looking forward to more food from Hawaii and California USA! Shoots brah!
I recently discovered your videos and I’m obsessed!! I can’t stop watching them! Please make more and more and more videos, please make them never stop!!
Establishing shot of underwater segment? Double take of swimming lady bums. Cameraman obviously has an alternate agenda. Can you hit a convenience store? I think they have Lawson’s and ABC. I don’t remember much about Hawaii, too busy babysitting wrangley nephews at the time. So beautiful though, I do remember that.
I grew up eating Nutella on toast and it’s still good. Also, I liked that smooth jazz- makes me want to be at a Sunday brunch somewhere, especially since it’s still Wednesday as I’m watching this while at work
Yummy yummy poke! Really love its flavors! And those chips, oh.... such torture watching you go through them without being able to have a bite! Thanks again! :)
@@ericsurf6 far as i know, origins are from WWII. Chocolate spread required a lot of cocoa, so the italian inventor mixed cocoa with sugar and nuts to increase volume😎 i bet soldiers were hooked. Its popular in europe for sure
en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nutella. Yes I looked it up and the link to the wiki page shows it. I thought that it was an Australian made spread. Well it is but of Italian origin.
It is a little bit Paul because it is a few small islands and tourism is the main industry and most things have to be shipped in. If you look though you can find most stuff for reasonable prices though.
Another great video!! I only found your channel about a month ago but I been binge watching your video while I do my dialysis treatments...definitely makes time go faster....sitting for over 4 hrs can be rough!! So thank you for keeping me occupied & entertained :))
Quite the experience! I’m glad you are enjoying coming back to the states. You definitely push me to save up to try to see different parts of the world and different types of food and atmosphere. Have a safe and wonderful trip!
Poke is one of my favorite Hawaiian foods. It's become popular in NYC and in my opinion, a solid showing of Japanese influence on the Americas. Nutella is a hazelnut chocolate spread originated in Italy and is so tasty. Very common addition in local crepe shops. Enjoy your vacation and thanks for the share.
Of course you didnt Eric lol. this is why i told you. Love your vids man. i visited Thailand because of Mark Weins, and my next Asian destination is Japan because of you.
Love the videos, I've been binging all your videos and really enjoy watching them throughout school and when I get back home. Im hoping one day I can take a trip of my own to Japan and try all the exotic foods that they have to offer.
I'm always thinking the same thing about the cameraperson (is it his wife?) Remembering one incident where he said he was too full to eat the dessert so will give it to the cameraman. I thought "Nice!" BUT....then he said "Well, let me just taste a bite." He then took another and soon it was almost half gone! *LOL*
Hawaii and Tokyo are some of the places I want to go to at least once during my life. I used to travel a lot as a kid due to my dad being a diplomat but now that I am older, I have never really vacationed anywhere outside of my home nation.
I love Oahu, one of the best places to eat. The North shore has one of the best burgers I've ever had, and the way they made their fries was something else!
Y’all stay safe in Hawaii! Been enjoying watching your videos and learning about Japan and the culture! Also helps take my mind off of my PTSD, appreciate you!
Love your videos Ericsurf6, i remember your video with the runny omelet, you were in a buffet restaurant. one thing i love about you is that even if you don't like what you just tasted you don't waste the food and just solider on and eat all your food. Awesome job! love it.
another great video, my 7 year old daughter and I have been really loving your uploads. we are learning new Japanese words and she is more open to trying new foods. she has been making me make turkey sushi (turkey and cheese rolled in a wrap and sliced lol) and putting chop sticks in her lunch box. keep up the great work!! we love watching from NY
Ohayo Eric! OMG! That poke! It looked so fresh! So glad that you enjoyed your Nutella and strawberry waffle. It looked delicious!! I’m glad that you were able to get some whipped cream for it though. Can’t have that dish without it. Thanks for sharing! Loved the North Shore when I was there!! Have a great time with your son on the Kern river!!
That Hawaiian poke looked amazing being from a convenience store. Nice camerawork while snorkeling…there were a couple nice shots in there! 😉 Get Some!!
Those chips looked pretty yummy. I really like those Kettle style chips you can't beat that crunch. All the food looked yummy :) hope you enjoy the rest of your vacation.
My Daughter and I just live watching your food adventures. When we go out we now rate our food by eric heads. Lol we have lots of fun with it. Thanks for being cool and fun to watch.
Ive been binge watching ericsurf6 videos for days now and finally get a “live” one! Hello yeah! Love to win the food pack too! 🙃 can’t get enough of your videos man! Stay awesome!
We've been getting Nutella here in the states for a long time. Its goooood! You can mix it with a little peanut butter and put it on hot toast...heaven.
nutella is a coco hazelnut spread. hazelnuts made like peanut butter and coco added, you can find it absolutely anywhere in america and generic brands sometimes are better than Nutella ( Nutella is a brand name) (chocolate hazelnut spread is what it is). absolute heaven in everything ive tried it with, my favorite is mixing with peanut butter and eating with all different fruits and pound cake, angelfood cake, pancakes, WAFFLES. it is also what is inside the choco candy Ferrero Roches ( spelling may be wrong)
Hi Eric, I came across one of your videos a couple weeks ago & binge watched almost all of them. I’m from the eastern shore of Maryland & seafood is what we’re known for. Because of your videos, I have a secret I’ve kept for most of my life & now feel free to reveal it. I eat shrimp tails too! I’ve never known anyone else who does that, and was so happy that you proudly show yourself indulging in them! Thank you, I don’t feel like a shrimp-tail eating weirdo anymore. And I love your videos!
I love Hawaii. Keep up the great content. Recently started watching ur vids, and now I think I’ve watched everything u have posted both past and most recent. 👍
That waffle looks so so good! I wish I had a good looking waffle like that haha! I loved snorkeling in Hawaii when I was there, hopefully you did too. Enjoy your holiday Eric!
I always thought Nutella was French! Turns out it's actually Italian! Very popular in Europe, I'm pretty sure they have it in America as well. It's common to be put on waffles, crepes and pancakes, delicious stuff! Loved the video, can't believe you ate so much before you went snorkelling though :D
Just started watching your videos. Thank you so much for sharing your adventures. As a so Cali native I lost it when you mentioned Tommy's fries. Keep up the fun
Oh man, one of my dream destinations. Some day I'll make it to Hawaii. I've yet to try Poke so it'll be one of my first meals on the trip. Great video. Thanks for sharing!
