Aloha! Congrats on the sheep and thanks for sharing the video. I’ll be hunting that area for the first time in on about a month. Any helpful tips would be great?! Thanks
Wow you are awesome! I’m more of a spear fisherman, but I’ve taken an interest in bow hunting. You are spot on about regulations on the island. I don’t know much about hunting but fishing regulations are terrible and don’t really support future fish stock. Hearing your lack of success legislatively definitely has me timid in trying to change things. Anyways, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for another nice adventure Ryan. They sure have some wool on them. I heard & felt that thud on that shot! 😳 Tough animal, can't believe it got up. Thanks for emphasizing the blood trail like a detective trying not to mess up a crime scene.
Wow! Incredible work man. If you’re ever down to be interviewed, lmk! I’m making videos for my future daughter and spending the next 4 months on Big Island. Would love to hear more about Hawaiian hunting culture and your experiences. All the best dude.
I do too! To be honest, if areas I hunted weren't so crowded, I'd probably get back into trad bowhunts. It's just way crowded out here that I won't be eating much if I took out that stickbow. Just a less fun experience when there's few good stalk opportunities without someone else coming in on ya or getting impatient with it.
Great video. I'm really sorry to hear about the conservation and management issues you experience in your state. I hope things improve. Keep churning out great content.
Nice job wish I saw that when I was up but I really appreciated the beauty and to just walk and breathe the air...mahalos for making a video of the area...when we went we went off to the right road up on the mauka side and the sheep were running parallel to the hwy but so much hunters made it hard to pin them down...I got in 10yrds but was a ewe but to smell and see animals I was appreciative of just that...It let me know I still had it in me to get on them...they are hard to hunt but just to smell them it a adrenaline rush...in August puuwaawaa opens I'll be back up is it a hard hunt is it more goat or is there sheep..anyway aloha my braddah have a blessed day aloha
