Hello neighbor! Doesn't it seem that the sun is getting hotter? I am trying to group a selection of plant in an attractive way on my patio, but many "full sun" plants are getting scorched. I like Koolau Farmers, and every time I find myself on that side of the island, I try to visit. I hope you are having a good weekend. The NFL is in town and traffic is... well I always avoid Waikiki, but the traffic to stadium was... well,a lot of people were rushing to the stadium, I suppose. I moved the surviving ones to a more shadier spot. Yes, I avoided the west side this past weekend because of the NFL game. Hello Sandy :) When my father died, I had nothing to remember him, so I bought a Buddha Statue in honor of him, but my neighbor thought the Buddha was part of Al Quida. He was too excited to talk sense into. Thank goodness he moved. I want to give a tour of my outside garden, but my herb garden, that was flourishing for years, died. I was relaxing in my garden. I've gotten into container gardening so I can group and rearrange. I'm inspired by Monet, so I tried to stick to gem tones and grouped the plants according to color. Good morning, Denice Yes! Talking about the varieties only found at Koolau Farmers would have been an interesting thing to talk about, but I was afraid of showing prices... I guess it would have been okay. The prices are comparable to other stores, so I'm sure they wouldn't have gotten upset. I was just there at Koolau Farmers three days ago. Plants are my Therapy Wow how interesting and how nice! I lost a peace Lilly but propagated a price of it! Sooo, only have one large plant which I call Do (long O)! It is actually Do-Do! Good evening was looking at the fiddle leaf fig but it’s not one That is on my wish list! I guess I can’t see the joy in owning one. My brother owned one and since his passing away in April, I am sure his companion let it die as well! I didn’t want it , and believe my decision to leave it at their home was best. Well, I propagated my Snake plant! It has the beautiful yellow variegation on the edges. I now have 3 and gave my 4 th one to my son for new home! LOL :) I love your name:) I don't think I made a video on my anthuriums, but I grew up having to help my grandmother take care of hers. They need lots of bright indirect light - if they get direct light, it can't be from the midday sun. they do well in humid areas. I have mine surrounded by other plants and I mist them as a morning routine to try to wake up while the coffee is trying to kick in. They have arial roots and like to stand above the ground. My grandmothers anthuriums, I used to put coconut husks (cut coconuts with the fibers still inside) onto the roots of the plants to keep the moisture in. In my garden, I have them in a potting soil and Perlite, and i top it with orchid bark. It seems to be doing well. I live on the dry side of the Island. My grandmother lived on the windward/rainy side of the island, and anthuriums love humidity. Thank you for visiting and taking the time to comment. Good morning, Erin :) Aloha from Hawaii! Sorry about the motion sickness. I felt it a little during editing. I am wondering if it's the camera. When I eventually vacation in the Philippines, I was thinking of buying a "GoPro" camera. I see many RU-vidrs use that, and their videos seem calm. Some of those plants are only sold the size it's in. I found a lipstick palm yesterday! It was smaller - about three feet talk, but it was healthy... it cost $141.00 USD. I was told that there is a plant nursery near, but " a bird in the hand is worth more than two in the bush." Someone stole a bunch of these red palms from a business just across the police station. I guess that's a safe place because the police wouldn't hangout where their supervisors and managers are working. I was going to buy the Australian grass, but I blew my budget on plants for the... probably... year. I probably will regret the purchase if I ever get around to visiting that nursery the other customer was telling me about as I was going to purchase my palm. Thank you, Erin. Friends, Gerald:)

I've made a couple videos of shopping on my channel so if you put Kathleen Murphy and the word orchids philodendrons coleus or houseplants along with my name in the RU-vid search engine you'll come to my channel. I just did one at Lowe's and another one at Weis Market which is the supermarket here in Maryland. I live an hour and a half Northwest of Washington DC and also Baltimore Maryland. It's where I-70 and I-81 intersect. My videos aren't that great I just talked about the plans and what they are and how much they are and they were really reasonable prices. The next shop with me videos I do I'm going to talk more about plant care because a lot of people out there that are starting to buy plants don't know the first thing about how to care for many plants especially begonias and I'm not sure whether you've shown videos on begonias yet or not but I love your videos. And I'm glad you didn't take what I said in a bad way because I didn't mean it I was just trying to help you so you get more views. Apparently many of the people that watch RU-vid videos love love love shop with me videos meaning you're going into a nursery or a plant job or big-box store and they want to see what's there and how much things cost versus what's available in their area and how much things cost and their area.
