Came across all your Hawaii videos just a few days ago. I haven't been back to visit my family for 5 years now and these videos brought back a lot of fond memories. I really miss the food! Very thankful that you guys made these videos. I've subscribed to your channel. Hope you go back to Hawaii soon so I can see more of the island I miss so much.

I went to Oahu, back in July of 1989. Spent 10 days there. I will never forget how strange and beautiful it was! Many great experiences and sights there. But I was still quite young then. I wish I could go back again, I know much more now. I would be more adventurous in my culinary explorations. Many, many Japanese tourists back then. I took a lot of pictures, using their cameras! I can still taste the pineapples.

I lived on Oahu for 10 years. I worked at WMC. The last six years I was there I lived in Kaaawa. My favorite park is Malaikahana State Park. I loved the mix of people too. OMG those colorful rice cracker mix my fav. Spam musubi soooooo yum. Love seeing you there. Soak it up.

Darn! I'm sorry I missed this livestream! I've been to Hawaii 3 times and always have such a good time. Enjoy seeing you hanging out on the beach and trying Hawaiian snacks. It's the only other place I've considered living other than NYC. I love li hing mui!
I spent a month in Hawaii back in 2003. I spent time on oahu and Kauai. I loved it so much alert from the mosquitos which eat me alive, I got over seventy bites in one night.

good luck finding parking at Palace Saimin ! For me, a few years back, my family went on a quest to find the best tasting saimin/broth on Oahu...btw, across from Palace Saimin and just to the right of the Post Office is the the 'Old Saimin House' in one of the shops on that property.. I was disappointed in the broth at both places..also another btw, redondo's hot dogs are a local favorite for generations (and you can tell it's redondo's as it's red in color).
Does hawaii food look like okinawa food too if so i want to go hawaii w my mom shes okinawan so miss okinawa ramen..and pig meat 🍖...i cant believe hawaii has furikake. Well be safe..i. I have never been to Hawaii. I like furikake rice, but I don’t like furikake popcorn. I had it when I lived in California. They had it at the Tokyo Central (Don Quixote).
I’m from Australia and the two countries I have been to in the last 8 years are Hawaii and Japan. Both are great. It may be a Ring of Fire attraction!😂

Lately i noticed that the volume was lower than usual. Did you guys change the camera or you dont use an external mic?:/ sadly i couldnt watch some videos because it was so hard to listen to. This one was a lil better than previous livestreams
I also noticed lots of Japanese tourists in Hawaii and some seemed culturally shocked by the diversity of the U.S., I have never been stared at so much, being a person of mixed heritage native American, French Polynesian, white and black, I must have been quite interesting lol.

here in Hawaii, when you go to a movie theatre and buy popcorn, it is like a prerequisite to mix the popcorn (w/butter preferably) with a bag of arare (rice crackers)...
You forgot to mention that you are supposed to "sneak" the arare into the theaters. Of course if you don't buy arare at the counter, they know you have it in your bag.
You didn't get any poi? I used to get lochi men candy. Did I spell that right. My girlfriend at the time was from Hilo and she introduced me to so many awesome foods lol. But the spam musubi was my favorite. Also these little tiny cups of this little white fruit can't remember the name. Anyway great video.
