I’m so glad SOMEONE did space station level 7!! Despite what people think it does truly fit into the album if you pay attention to the lyrics, after translation lol
@@Kooooooooooooooooooooooooooooa ikr!! I feel like labyrinth, black rainbows, and space station level 7 always get the worst of the two just because people think it doesn’t fit the aesthetic. When in reality taking into consideration the story and inspiration behind it, it does fit and deserves love like all the other songs
Very beautiful cover. This is unrelated but I when I saw the video my heart stopped because of how much you look EXACTLY like a friend, you even have the same cap. So I sent it to her and she even though it was a video she posted on instagram or something before realising you are not her. She told me she used to play piano and this song is the exact song she knew by heart. I think you two are ment to meet and this is how interesting stories on netflix begin. Destiny has things to tell you : you have a clone in France, or maybe you are the clone, the fog is coming.
When stranded lullaby started playing it made me tear up this is incredible. As a fellow piano player I really admire and appreciate the time and effort and skill to create something so beautiful
Been learning piano for a little less than a year now, hopefully I can learn to your skill level. Your arrangement of the song sounds really pretty so congrats friend 👏
@@HaydenIsMe Of course! And if you don’t mind me asking when did you start learning piano? And when did you first start getting into creating your own arrangements?
@@APersonTM I've been playing for 9 (almost 10?) years now! Which is absolutely insane to think about now that I mention it. This is the only arrangement of any real complexion I've put together, but I've done a few little things by ear for things related to my band over the past year and a half.
@@HaydenIsMe Dang! Yeah that is awhile lol But yeah you’ve done an amazing job so far man so I don’t think I really need to say this but either way good luck for wherever the future takes you :D
it was really incredible i cant even begin to fathom the amonunt of time and effort it must have been thanks, really ps: the fourth wall broke at 5:54 and yeah idk what to say else than thank you again for the video TT TT
man i have been listening to this on loop for like a week to get through my finals and it is so soothing but also interesting enough for my ADHD brain to be able to focus on my essays. Thanks for this :)
This was just 😙👌✨ You sound and even look like Joe Hawley! -AND VARIATIONS OF A CLOUD AHHHHHHHHHeoehebewjkJjKTKRJEJTBFK 😭😭 THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR ENDING IT WITH THAT IT WAS AMAZING!!!!
Fabulous it's fantastic I was impressed by the emotions what I fell't when I watch your vidéo . Plus one subscriber. [ i'm french sorry for the spelling.
This is absolutely beautiful, pretty sure joe would approve the mario music reference lol But really though this is amazing, it sounds exactly like the album. You captured it perfectly. Great job
As stereotypical and repeated as it is to say, it’s all in the practice. I’ve played for ten years now and this piece turned out so well only because I was passionate enough through attention problems to focus on it. Unfortunately that passion to practice didn’t follow me elsewhere and I am much further behind that I wish I was right now, especially now that it’s becoming my primary instrument. It’s all about keeping it up and trying new pieces rather than stagnating on old ones though!
Mesmerising, your compositional skills are beautiful and you play with such spirit ❤ I've been attempting arrangements of Tally-Wood adjacent songs in my spare time, and this is what I aspire to achieve someday
Tally Hall songs have definitely proven a lot easier to arrange than Will Wood ones for me to be honest! There are so many crazy aspects to Jazz piano that Will uses that are so hard to learn without a previous Jazz education! Maybe one day I’ll do a Will Wood medley too lol. Thank you!
@@HaydenIsMe With all of the leitmotifs that reoccur across Will's discography, I'll bet a medley would sound incredible. And it's funny to hear that Tally comes more easily to you, because in my experience I've really struggled to unravel all of the intricacies of TME and choose which ones are "most worth" emphasising, but I've got a pretty well-oiled Self. I've got no Jazz education whatsoever, but I guess I find comfort in the creative liberty you get when working with Will's music lol. (Also I just discovered your original music and I didn't even realise you wrote it yourself at first!? You are so incredibly skilled, good lord!!)
I was hit by a shock when I got this hat (along with a few other colors and some of my usual flat caps) last year and the day after Joe posted a picture with the same type. I cannot escape the Joe Hawleyfication of my life
I absolutely need to learn this entire thing so I can play it whenever I want like you can. I only practice little bits and pieces on a piano app on my phone. I can get them to sound okay but I need a real piano dangit
If you have the means to get around you can always practice on a keyboard at a local music store! Lots of schools and universities also have em available! If you have your own space, Craigslist and Facebook marketplace are great for getting pianos! I got a real upright piano that has practically no damage or problems for $40 recently!
this is pretty good, if you want to improve those little whoopsies, it may be better to slow it down a couple of times and practice those little fragments. I can tell you have an immense skill for arranging and it must be hard to remember everything without sheet music, so maybe a diagram could help. just little advices I wanted to give you as a pianist. I'll subscribe and I hope I keep seeing you improving :) btw you're really pretty
this is very very nice. your arrangement flows together very nicely!! do you have the sheet music written down anywhere? I play the piano and would love to give it a look :)
Unfortunately I don’t have anything written, but there are some very good arrangements of The Mind Electric on musescore that I referenced a few times early in writing this that are very good!
