My brother worked in one of the older buildings in town (can't place name, memory's terrible) and pretty much the whole building knew of a ghost boy who dwelled in the basement. The employees would talk to him to get him to "stop" messing with printers and whatnot. There's even toys left around for him.

Hawaiian Ladies told me on Lagoon Drive, a Food Catering Building on the 3rd floor. Priests will not go there to Bless the place. Like the Movie 13 Ghosts, Ghosts are behind the plexy glass holding spears and other weapons. When people pass through the plexy-glass, months later they would end up getting sick (most of them getting Cancer) The Hawaiian Ladies (sisters) said they see torches coming from Diamond Head walking across the ocean to that building.

Braddah Kapanui, about 5 years ago i was with a friend in the notorious 7 bridges parking lot up Manao 3am in the morning. My friend noticed something crouched behind us, when i turned to look it made itself known and stood up.. it was about 7-8 feet tall creature covered in hair, head to toe like Chewbacca or a bigfoot.. It stood about 20 feet from us and started walking toward us.. I quickly turned on my car and drove off.. i remember it clear as day and still get chicken skin from em.. My auntie then just recently told me a story about her somewhere in Aiea by a Heiau about 40 years ago.. She said she and her bf at the time saw something similar.. A huge hairy creature but she said it was on all fours and too big to any animal like a dog or Pua’a. Has anyone heard or seen anything similar?!
@Citlalzin
@Citlalzin 2 года назад
Okay so no lie you described a creature similar to one My husband saw, I saw it too but I didn’t see if it had hair or not. I honestly thought it looked like a big lizard but my husband saw the same (he was closer to it) but he said it seemed like a giant dog or cat cuz it was hairy, on all fours and running super fast down Ala wai canal Waikiki side. Several people saw it too we all kinda looked at each other trying to rationalize what we saw. I have no idea what that was. One of my aunties spoke about kaupe, but honestly didn’t think that was it. It still trips me out until this day.

My dad told me a story about his mom, when she was young, coming across a pair of long very hairy humanoid legs stretching across her walking path and the upper torso was nestled in some tall grasses off to the side of the road. The thing must've been about 10 feet tall, she found out it was an ancient creature that her father called "Huluhulu man". This was in Maui, where she grew up. I never knew anyone else had seen this guy before, thank you so much for sharing your story.

@@Citlalzin about 20 years ago when I drove home from work around 8pm-ish I remember almost getting into a car accident when I seen a small super fast creature running on all fours dart in front of me and cross the street. The odd thing about it was as it hit the center beam of my cars head lights and I could see it was actually a human form, and not what I initially thought was a rabbit. That threw me off for quite some time. This incident happened near banyan tree, Waimanalo.

Why is Oahu so much more haunted with negative energy than big island? I feel the mana on big island, sure, but Oahu is SCARY.

@@MysteriesofHawaii very true! The fast lifestyle and transient energy plays into it. I just always experience something when I’m visiting on Oahu. I have yet to feel real fear in Honokaa. But I also think my ancestors protect me here, since it’s where we’re from.

Any stories about ghosts on the road to Hana? I had an experience in 1996 when I was on my honeymoon. To this day I every now and then try to find ghosts legends about driving down the mountain after night has fallen. Something my ex was warned not to do - but we lingered to long and the dark caught us. I believe to this day an eerie beat up patched up old ghost car led us down to keep us from going over the side. My husband who drove a taxi in Chicago and was a bully driver was taking the mountain curves faster than the speed markers. I kept begging him to slow down but he wouldn’t. We were up there alone the whole way but then round a curve this car appeared driving slowly. It forced my husband to drop his speed to 5 mph down the mountain because there is no place to easily pass around other cars. When we were finally down and on a regular road, the ghost car was no where to be seen. Not in front behind or down any roads it could have turned on to. After being only about 2 cars ahead of us. I still to this day look for ghost stories about the road to Hanna

perhaps it had nothing to do with Hana but perhaps a protective ancestor

Lopaka your videos are always so interesting and informative. I work in Bishop Square (often late at night and sometimes into the early morning). Thankfully, I have not come across any night marchers, but there is definitely something on our floor in our building. At various times after hours, the main front door of our office will open and close as if someone has entered. Our door is always locked and it is well after housekeeping has left. The first couple of times, I ran to the front thinking a coworker came in (even though it would not make sense that they would come in at that hour). I have verified that it is not security and no one else is on the floor in the other offices. It is definitely our door and it is definitely the sound of it being fully opened and then closing. Watever it is does not give off any negative energy, but I am curious if there are stories about the buildings in Bishop Square specifically. In spite of living here my entire life, I still learn new things about the hauntings.

Back in 1996, I saw a female spirit in the Hawaii Tower (9th flr), now called Topa Financial Center. I'm a electrician, and was doing some work on the 9th floor, right where the elevators are. And about 15 minutes or so into my work, about 15 feet away, at the corner of my eye, I saw the Womens bathroom door open and a woman coming out. But then she quickly, went back in and I could see the restroom light disappear as the door closed slowly. And I immediately thought to myself, how strange that was because I thought she was embarrassed to see me there? As minutes went by, all kinds of things ran through my mind like, why would she be embarrassed, did I actually see maybe an office door open, was it the elevator door? About 10 or 15 minutes went by and a woman came out of an office near by and headed for the Womens restroom. I stopped her and sked to check if anyone was in there? She propped the door open, looked in and said no ones in here, there's only twp stalls? She asked me why and I told her what happened. She freaked out and didn't go in. After work I mentioned this incident to one of the Security guys and he said, when the building was first built back in the 70's, a woman was working late one night and was raped and murdered by a Security Guard making his nightly rounds... that may have been the same lady that I saw, considering she was wearing a black skirt with a green blouse, I didn't get to see any facial features because that incident happened quite fast. So far in my life time, I've had 4 supernatural encounters in Hawaii. That was one of them.

I'm a tax accountant that works late at night in the same building during tax season, but on a different floor. When I'm by myself, I do notice a faint women-like humming near the bathroom. Also, a few of the girls from my office notice too that when they close certain stalls in the bathroom or as they're about to leave, the sinks would automatically turn on even though they're far away from them. Which never happened to me in the men's stall.

My ohana has seen Pele's white dog on occasion and they view their experiences as omens to be very mindful. I also learned about a couple of stories of Kaupe, and Boki that may or may not be true, but I for real experienced a phantom canine on a visit to the Nu'uanu Pali. That guy really liked my sister and followed her for a good portion of our excursion.

There's an old story about a white ghost dog that's seen on Kamehameha Hwy on the east side of Oahu. I grew up in Kahalu'u on Kamehameha Hwy and heard my grandfather speak of this dog. I didn't really believe the stories until I saw it for myself about 17 years ago. I was headed home on Kamehameha Hwy going into Kahalu'u between Heeia Kea pier and where I grew up, nearby to where the old Pineapple Hut was. As we came around a bend, I saw something approaching from the left and into our path. At first it looked like a clear plastic bag being carried by a breeze, but as we got closer, it started to take shape and form into a white dog. My friend who was driving started to slow down as this "dog" was now moving across the road in front of us only about 30ft. away. But as it moved, it grew and grew until it crossed all the way to the other side of the road (my side of the car), until it was about the size of a small cow. It was transparent but yet solid at the same time, if that makes any sense, and you couldn't see any features of it's face, but you could see very clear details of the body. It looked like a HUGE white and very shaggy dog. I never took my eyes off of it, but as soon as we came up on it on the other side of the road it disappeared into thin air..gone. My friend who is a non believer totally freaked out and asked me if I saw what he saw. I tried to get him to turn around but he was too freaked out lol.
