I used to love eating at the Kahuku lunch trucks back in the day (80s). But in the last few decades that place became way too commercialized for tourist. Prices are soaring and crowds are unbelievable at times. Now days I drive right past and head to papa oles and Gords Smoked Prime rib in Hauula. Lol

Aww, I feel for Amanda. I get motion sickness when I look down or riding through windy roads. I have to look at the road and follow it to avoid feeling nauseous. Sometimes turning off the AC helps me too. And that chicken joke at the end, the chicken we eat come from our yard, Lol! That’s just how life is in the Philippines.

My hometown, Hale'iwa. ❤️ I could be wrong, most likely am, but my parents had one of the first Lunchwagons/food trucks on the Northe Shore. They bought a retired Mail Truck and converted it to a food truck. Built a gas stove and a serving counter with candies in the window like a Manapua Van. Our spot was Waimea Bay every weekend. Lifeguards would save their parking spot. Lifeguards ate for free. But we had all kine grindz, the best part for us kids was we just swam all day. Good Times

I feel for you, Amanda! Pretty sure you're over it by now, but I know that feeling. At the end, it really looked like you just wanted to end the video and go home. Maybe next time you can take Jay to Gord's Prime Rib. The video where you guys originally visited Gord's prompted me to go a week later and yes, it was GOOD! Another great collab 🤙 The Chicken Sandwich is massive ! Here is some trivia for you - in Australia we would not call that a chicken sandwich (I do know that you call them a sandwich) Anything that is between a bun is called a Burger here including fried or grilled chicken in Australia 🇦🇺 Hence it would be called a Fried Chicken Burger here 😋 A sandwich here is between sliced bread 🍞 Cheers 🏝🤙

Howzit and oh my goodness y'all!!! North Shore grinds rock harder than penitentiary steel! Y'all have definitely kicked it up to a new level and are top tier foodie grind ohana! That bomboocha size chicken looked so ono. And while Jay and Felix hogged the sammich's first (yeah you Felix) Amanda was grinding away and paying homage totally to the soggy fry gang. I'd hit that 80 joint all day just for the fries and blue cheese dressing. And just imagine if Adam did the fries splooged with his hot sauce and then dipped in the blue cheese. Soggy fry gang heads would explode and I'd be more than happy to overdose on them! And yeah, Amanda is correct. Feral chickens can fly but not often. And thats okay on the audio. It happens. Gimme garlic shrimp and mac salad all day long! Then again Felix has it right kalbi and garlic shrimp mix plate with mac salad! As we say in Texas..Chingon!!! And who doesn't love that pretty puppy? I just know y'all are spoiling that pupper with squeeky chew toys and puppy treats. Love love loved this video flick. Mahalo for all y'all do and bomboocha shaka's!!!!

It happens sometimes, and it was still an awesome video. Hope Amanda is feeling better now, it sucks to be sick around all that great food. Also the sound thing was no big deal, it was just a little different from your usual. Glad you made it out to Da Bald Guy. Our last trip we tried it and had to go back right before we left. Everything we had was outstanding, and I totally agree about the mac salad. It is so tough on the North Shore - there are so many little local places that are amazing you can't hit them all.
