@@AmandaFelixEats I get a cut off of everything sold. JK, but great job. Everyone that I talk to watches your channel and it’s helping a lot of local businesses.
@@kennycasey2525 Or have the word LITERALLY defined like in a dictionary post with all the grammatical marks and short definition. Then have an example: "Often used by the female person pictured here..." and have a picture of Amanda and Felix.
I have to throw a compliment out to Yvonne! Her review of the dishes she eats is genuine! Her balance of compliment to criticism makes you feel that her review is real. I trust her review is right on spot. Bless you Amanda! (Sneeze). I know that all is not usually good at every place and that’s okay. Some places does though have great dishes! Yvonne keeps it real! Mahalo!
"We're foodies, not fatties...." Hilarious. You guys are a pleasure to watch. It is nice to see how the videos have improved in quality and editing.. Keep up the good work.
I thought that summer roll was wrapped in plastic wrap all the way up until Felix bit into it lol. I can’t wait to try these places (and so many more) when I get there in August
I loved when I think it was season 2 of HI 5-0 when Daniel Kim (Chin) bought a dozen coco puffs in the box and gave it Scott Caan (Danny) while they were having a break under the banyan tree in the parking lot at the corner of Queen St. and Punchbowl St and Danny said it was soo good...this introduced I feel the coco puffs to the world.
Mucha Mahalo! Thank you thank you for sharing this spot! I called ahead and order the Nem Nướng Roll, the Saigon special Bánh Mì, and the BBQ vermicelli bowl to see what you guys were raving about and omg that's the best Gỏi Cuốn (summer roll) I've had here in Hawaii in the past 3 decades! I named dropped you three and the owner gave a big smile and laugh; you folks should get sponsored by some of these businesses someday. Just sayin
Another awesome video guys! The jokes were flying so Felix is definitely feeling better😂 And it’s great to see The Vonne again, I’ve missed her Hot Takes😉 Aloha A&F Foodie Ohana!🤙
I don’t know why but I got scared for a sec, in the beginning you passed by my house and my school. So cool to see that a youtuber actually did that!!!!
My dad worked as a baker in Liliha bakery on the 70s. He was in charge of the sugar donuts. He would bring me home a bag when he came home. That’s the start of my addiction on donuts ❤️
Enjoyed Amanda's subtle salute to Ross (Friends.) Thank you for reminding us of what we take for granted here in Hawaii. I hope that the both of you keep enjoying what you're doing for a long time. Mahalo!
The best part of the Banh mi is the the pate and Mayo. The baguette is crunchy on the outside and fluffy on the inside and packed with all the goodness. The head cheese is the best!
I appreciate the time and efforts that you put into finding great cheap eats for people that are coming to Hawaii and are on a budget. I hope that when we do visit that we may be able to meet up and enjoy exchanging stories. Peace.
Bringing the Cocoa Puffs during your internship is a Skill. The sweet Pate Au Choux fillings and toppings look amazing. Nice to see the Vonne. Nice episode; I bow to you guys. Thank You
Daaaang that unagi is looking goood. I’ve never seen one that thick and juicy at any Japanese restaurant in Cali. That’s one heck of a deal. Gonna have to check it out next time I’m in Hawaii.
you guys pronounce banh mi and nem nuong pretty good. Almost thought y'all were Vietnamese lol. Really enjoys watching your channel. We are going to Honolulu in August, so excited.
Definite kanak attack! You guys always make me hungry! Great stuff on the Vietnamese food. Don’t mess with Amanda on dessert!! Keep spreading da aloha 😎🤙🏾
I WILL DEFINITELY be going there as SUMMER rolls are my fav compared to anything fried. The “hoagie” looks amazingly awesome delicious 😋 !!!!! 2024 can NOT get here soon enough !!!!!!
I live now in California. I just found you guys today and now I subscribed. I’m local like you both and grew up on Oahu. I’m glad I found your videos cause I haven’t heard some of the places you guys talk about. Going to Oahu next week and I’ll be trying some of the places you guys have reviewed. Sooo excited!
We went to Bella Banh Mi this morning at 1045am. My husband said order one only. Now, it is 122pm, we came back to order two more banh mi sandwiches. It was really really good!!!
Off topic: thanks to Amanda n Felix for recommending KJ Local Grindz in Kaneohe. Visiting from San Jose Cali n absolutely loved the food! Dominguez Family.
I enjoy watching your videos, especially when you show new spots I never been to. Used to live down the street from Liliha Bakery, going since the mid 60's, still so ONO! Keep your awesome food adventures coming and Mahalo for supporting local businesses! 🥖🍱🙂
Awesome! I'm gonna check out Mai and Bella this weekend for sure! You guys always make the food look extra good! BTW - You KNOW your channel is getting popular when you have lots of ads. When I first started watching you guys, your videos had NO ads. For this video? I had to fight off 9 ads.....LITERALLY! Might have to splurge on RU-vid Premium!
Thanks for another amazing video!! Is there any chance you guys can do a late night eats video series? Its so hard to find places to eat from after 9:00pm onwards living in town or on the south side of the island. Mahalo again for the grindz!
You guys are awesome!! Love watching.. you are so relatable and feel like I’m watching my brother or sister.. or friends.. do a food review! We were in Oahu last week and went to a couple of recommended places!! IT DID NOT DISAPPOINT! Keep it up guys!!
I still need to try a banh mi. I was always so hesitant to eat one, but watching your guys vids has made me more willing to try different kinds of food!
Grew up on Lanakila and kuakini. Spent alot of time at the original L&L before it was L&L. Shimazu shave ice, Liliha Bakery, Jane's Fountain, Tamashiro Fish Market.
Hello Buddies great to see Yvonne. Been meaning to go to Mai Musubi it's on now!. Didn't know there was a Bahn Mi shop in Liliha. Next time you go Liliha Bakery check out the Lemon Coconut Square it's tangy & light. The Banana Chantilly Cupcake 👍👍🐷🐷. Avoid scones.
Aloha Amanda & Felix (and Yvonne), not sure what happened to my comment posted here last night (it disappeared)? Liliha's is great, been to all 3 locations and recently heard they are planning on opening up a 4th location in the International Marketplace Waikiki by the end of this year. Mahalo for another great vlog.
Aloha Paula! Mahalo for watching and supporting us! We’re not sure what happened to your comment 🤔 so sorry that’s happened! Yes! It just came out that they’re gonna open in Waikiki! You hear information so fast!🥳 also mahalo for the early congrats! (We’re so close!!)
I agree with Amanda but Fresh roast pork bahn mi sandwich with a lot of vegetables is the best.. better than the frozen meat subway or mc d or fast foods. Best
Just got home from Honolulu this a.m. Tried to cover as many eateries you both have vlogged on yt. Did Liliha upon arrival Monday, but on Nimitz. Cocoa Puffs was a must after bfast!😋
Amanda & Felix is my go to local couple for the OHANA FOODIES!!! I actually have a list of places to visit when I get home!!! Thank y’all for your channel - just love y’all. Yvonne go girl - love ya too! By the way how can I get that “FAN” Deldee Hale
Cheap eats :kokoro tei, Minato restaurant both in mccully. Don't get the cold soba/udon bc the sause is package kine and don't taste good. Their combo plates are pretty good for price. side Takoyaki is good! Kokoro tei also has daily specials for only 10.98! I love unagi too and theirs is good. I know good unagi lol. Minato has tasty unagi as well. Fukuya mochi is right next to Minato too for dessert!
Thanks so much for 3 of you me more informations where I can take my family to eat vietnamese foods in Oahu. Love your enthusiasm for foods. God bless you all stay safe and healthy. Do you have any ideas for coconut foods involved so coconut milk? Thanks much.
I've been in Waikiki since Sunday and leaving this Sunday and the lines for some places are CRAZY !!! #doordashforthewin (I guess) glad I get to still try stuff from here though anyways even if it is door dash.
Yummy, my husband and i will be there late September 😋 we will definitely check out those awesome places. We also heard about a place called itchy butt, that has awesome korean chicken and parve donuts. Aloha and mahalo.🌴
