This could be my last upload as I am unassured what or if the future matches will be broadcast and if I will be able to record it. That being said...I won't be unloading any Wahine games during their upcoming 2022 season. I know I keep saying this, but I really want to quit. It was fun for the years that I've been doing this. I don't find it fun anymore....I will always love and support this great program GO BOWS! #FAN4LIFE
nooo we love you for doing this!!!🥺 you mean SOOO much to us!! i always check your page to see if the games are uploaded, really it means a lot, PLEASE don’t stop!!🥺😫🙏
Thank you!! I have been a subscriber for years.. and this is the only channel where I can watch uh games.. i really appreciate you taking time to upload the games.. i will surely miss the games... Again thank u..Mahalo from Philippines.. 🇵🇭🤘
No matter who won, the NCAA should revamp their selection committee to expand it to 12 or 16 teams. How do they expect to grow the game when you limit participation with favoritism? If UCLA is the host and they lose in the first round of their playoff's that is their own fault. They could have moved the playoffs if it did not make it to playoffs.
UCLA is the least consistent team this year. At their best, they are the best team in the country. But then they go and do what they did in the conference tournament.
@@chrismitchell4230 they did have a loosing record to the teams in the ncaa tournament. I’d probably choose ucla over Penn because head to head ucla won, plus ucla beat some teams Penn lost too
@@Thomas_Erickson yea i agree they are the better team and if there had to be one spot ucla deserves it more, but i still think penn state can compete alongside those teams and deserves a chance to
@@chrismitchell4230 This is exactly why I said it should be expanded. There are more conferences in men's volleyball, so naturally expand the playoffs.
38:24 I would find it hard for the refs to consider a redo when it's clear as day, Nikolov's hand clearly caught the antenna. The antenna was moving all kinds of crazy there. It was probably fortunate he didn't fully take it out completely.
Thank You for all the hard work you have done over the years. I have been a Hawaii fan for the last 6 years and it is was all thanks to you and the work that you have done with this channel. I am a fan from The United Kingdom so it is difficult for me to stream Hawaii matches, I had to download a VPN and start paying for ESPN, but your uploads made it so I could watch all my favourite bows matches without hassle. I think everyone is eternally grateful for the work you did and are still doing and it is incredibly important to do what you love so thank you for all of the uploads till this point and stay happy 🌈🤙❤🥰🎉👏.
Still remember the slo-mo replays on London Olympics 10y ago when there was no challenge rule, the quality of which is still much higher than most of the challenge systems today. Anyway great vid
It doesn’t help that UH/spectrum is too damn cheap to spend the money on hd cameras and challenge replay systems. I am so damn sick of hearing kanoa talk about how the cameras aren’t the best quality to determine a call, yet not a damn thing is being done about it. They don’t even have the brain power to put up posters/flyers asking for donations to upgrade their cameras. The community would gladly donate and get them the funds they need.
Mahalo for sharing this video, I missed your videos this year. For a long time fan of Uh sports, who lives on the island of Guam this is the best way, other than being there to see the game. Much loved and appreciated.Hopefully you can do more videos of other Bows team sports.🤙🏽❤️🌈🏐👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽🌺🏝
I see Colton Cowell ,,, what a beautiful day .... Plus the eyes of Cole Hogland is so captivating !!! Keoni & Colton is the most handsome ... Donovan Todorov & Cole Hogland comes 2nd .. All of them perform well in their respective position especially Cole Hogland , super cool reactions after winning a point !!! So lovable ....

Mahalo so much for all your uploads throughout the years! I've regained such a love for the sport and UH Volleyball through watching these games in quarantine! Mahalo and much aloha!
Not fair, NCAA. A national playoff bracket of 16 teams is far FAIRER than the shitty current system the NCAA is using. Since games go fast, and don't require as much recovery downtime for players this could be done very easily. As it stands the championship selection is a sham--------all teams can have an off day. Case in point above is Long Beach State which beat UH twice during the regular season, equally Penn State which lost to Princeton but twice beat Princeton easily in regular season.
I hate that Leahy and McClaughlin support the standing of fans for each set. Their reasoning is that is what all other teams are doing. It's because they try to copy Hawaii standing for the final set, they didn't even realize why Hawaii fans were standing for the Aloha ball. Hawaii fans, many locals, do not believe in jinxing their team by standing just because their team is leading, we've seen many fans have to sit down because their team lost the set! What Hawaii fans do were because they support their team for the final point for the match, but to do it for each set, jinx braddah, jinx, only teams who think they are better than us think that UH cannot come from behind.
Thank you for always uploading, you've been my favorite account and it makes me sad to see you stop. Can you please tell us where we can watch the games live, (tv channel or website ...) as I have no idea where do people watch it I just open your channel :)
It’s possible the may stream/upload the first few games on the ncaa website. But I wouldn’t be surprised if the semis and final is on one of the various espn channels.
With a thing like this, you have to do it because you love to do it. Otherwise, you end up hating the thing that you used to love. Mahalo and aloha, UHVBF.
Thank you very much for posting this video! I live in the Philippines and we have no NCAA volleyball here. Is Nikolov really 6'7? Olivier stands 6'6 and Nikolov looks at least two inches taller than he. He even looks taller than 6'8 Holdaway. I don't know this sounds nuts, but i think Godbold and Nikolov should switch positions. Godbold clearly can't hit well from the right. Nikolov can rip it from anywhere and when he's up in the air, he towers over everyone. The only other guy in the lineup who has this physicality is Torwie , but he still seems clumsy. Besides, Godbold was a hot prospect as an outside hitter coming from highschool.
im wondering america is a rich country and high of technologies but im thinking why they lack of video camera specially to be placed in all corners of the court same as the olympics or asean summit games for easy access of challenging those difficult judgements during the play just sincere opinion in here
Volleyball isn’t as popular as it is in Europe. They won’t invest in a sport that doesn’t generate money. There’s hardly any broadcast or promotion for Volleyball especially for the Men.
Mahalo! Mahalo! Mahalo! This game was crazy! These teams are so much alike but thank God Hawaii won! I was screaming my head off the entire match and so glad UH pulled off the tough victory! Just watched the selection show and guess what! They gave the Beach the #1 seed and UH will play in the other bracket and who knows, we might see these same two teams play for a NCAA title! Crazy! Rooting for UH all the way! Thanks for uploading! GO BOWS!!!!🏐🌈🎉🤙🏽👏🏽💪🏽🏆
That sucks. Hawaii has a very weak mental game which makes it very hard for them to make a comeback without the help from their home crowd. Hopefully they can win it all.
@@locomojoboy2 Hawaii, each night at the pyramid, took one set from both matches, LBS has struggled away from the pyramid, was expecting they would take at least a set, but that's what 'home' fans are there for. Look at y'all trying to put Hawaii fans in the same boat as fans at BYU.
@@Akuma2000 never did I say they were. Just that Hawaii put way too much reliance in their home crowd in order to win important games. Which no team should ever do.
@@locomojoboy2 this same thing happened in 2019, Hawaii played two games at the pyramid during that season and lost, then played LBS in the Big West Championship and won, where was the commotion about the fans then. LBS lost at UCSD, UCSB, and UC Irvine, are you going to call out their fans too?
Looks like Hawaii will face either Princeton or North Greenville in the quarterfinal round match. Long Beach is the no. 1 seed and will play the winner of UCLA or Pepperdine
This is crazy! LBSU lost in the BWC final against UH but still got the at large bid and the #1 seed????? Wtf!!!!! But if UH advances they face a good Ball State who UH lost two matches to them in the beginning of the season but were without some key starters so that match will be fun to see! Good luck to the Warriors because I feel like they're playing their best vb right now and I see them winning it all again! GO BOWS!!!!🏐🌈🤙🏽💪🏽🏆
@@808aaq Hawaii should probably have been the 2 seed. Honestly it shouldn’t matter in the end, it’s probably going to be a Long Beach Hawaii final. To note, lbsu got the one because of RPI, and they did beat Hawaii twice like 2 weeks before this.
Not sure if you were paying attention but the only reason they were booing is because Nikolov tried to start a fight with Mouchlias over some banter, just like he did against the last team they played. The kid has an attitude problem and needs to grow thicker skin. After that happened the crowd booed him every time he served. Everyone else they did normal noise distractions. He was the ONLY one being booed by the crowd. Don’t know if your noticed that or not…
As happy and amazed that I am that UH not only beat, but swept Long Beach, I can confidently say that Hawaii would have lost without the help from the home crowd. Just being honest. Hell, even Wade has mentioned how they have the advantage from the home crowd to help them out. Which sucks because it says that Hawaii can’t beat LB without their help. It’s a good thing that the refs were Big West refs and not Hawaii refs or else I would feel bad for some of those challenge calls that didn’t go LB’s way. I’m also glad that Dimi was actually effective here than he was playing at LB. Just wish that Thelle and Voss were able to get their act together because they weren’t connecting at all until one or two points at the very end. But the most surprising thing of all is that Thimm kid actually serving into the court FIVE TIME in a row. That’s gotta be more rare than black unicorn. Wade honestly shouldn’t let him step on the court until his serve percentages are vastly improved. It’s amazing that Nikolai is only a freshman. He’s already scary now, imagine what he’ll be like in the future. Throughout the whole match he reminded me of Ushijima because LB kept setting all their balls to him and Hawaii could not block or stop him. They should stop trying to stuff block him all the time because their timing was always off and instead just soft block him instead. Here’s hoping that LB doesn’t get a bye to nationals because they will probably defeat Hawaii.
I know the crowd is one of the key factor. But when u play, u need to bring your game on. I thought the opposite team would be bumped up since they’re playing the crowd and the ‘Bows. Plus Hawaii played little better this game though.
It was the exact same as LBSU winning at home against Hawaii for those extra 2-3 points where the crowd helped propell them to victory. You use your crowd to give that extra push when need. For any team.
I agree with the crowd making a difference and I think that played a part in Long Beach winning at home also. Both teams have been dominant at home all season. So it’ll be interesting to see them face off on neutral ground, if they make it to the finals. Regardless Long Beach is not beating a Hawaii team playing at their best with only Nikolov alone. Hawaii did a great job shutting down Godbold all match and for the most part making it difficult for Long Beach to run quick sets with a lot of forced out of system plays. If Hawaii is able to play as well as they did against UCSB and Long Beach, i don’t see any team beating them.
Kind if cringey how 11 goes for a staredown every point like man youre 100lbs what are you gonna do? Don't be so edgy just celebrate with your teammates 😂
@@МауленБирманов-к7к my point is it's volleyball you're not gonna fight anyone and it's cringey watching people try to be tough every time they score a point
@@Vballnut2117 Oh then my b. Yea I think it was mostly cz either Dimitrius (#11) or Alex started talking first and then Alex roofed him and stared him down, so he had to do smth about it.
