Today i'm eating Hawaiian food from a local place called Ana's Island grill :). I got the loco moco bowl, Spam musubi, and the Katsu chicken plate with double macaroni salad
Some people have a damn good memory, I am one of those people. My earliest memory is from 2yrs old. I ask my mom questions all the time about things we did when I was really little and she is always surprised I can remember so vividly. My dad is the same way.
You should try Laos food! No one ever does Laos food mukbangs :( if you ever do try it, order laap also spelled larb, Lao sausage, Lao beef jerky and papaya salad(Thai style) with sticky rice. You eat everything with your hands together with the sticky rice :) also try nam khao which you’ll love! It’s a crispy fried rice salad you eat it like a wrap. Aum Gai chicken stew is very good too. Laos cuisine is my favorite and I’m Mexican/Filipino lol I recommend going to Nalinh Market it’s in Irving. The food is very authentic n cheap. You’re my favorite mukbanger n it would make my dayyyy if you tried these foods 💜
After watching this video yesterday, today I wanted to try Hawaiian food too, which I got from a local place, too. Never had it before, but it was SO good.
hey lexi, I was just thinking about the Vienna Sausages , cheap, you could eat it right out of the tin. surprised they still make it. kinda makes me I'll to think of it now.☺
I’ve never had Hawaiian, that looks sooo good. 👌💕✨ And I do the exact same thing with my eyebrows, now my son does too lol so maybe it’s genetic. 🤷🏼♀️
If you haven’t done a Mediterranean Mukbang please please please do I would love to see what you think about hummus and baba ghanouj and spanakopita and Dolmas and moussaka I think youd love Mediterranean food Are used to cook Mediterranean food but vegetarian style all the time if you can get some real authentic Greek feta cheese you can make so many amazing things out of it oh yeah I forgot to mention fried halloumi cheese
I don't really like mukbangs, I prefer ASMR, but I love you!!! I love how you take big bites, you're so natural and beautiful!!! I'm addicted to your videos! Love you!!
That looks so yummy! As a Hawaii local, I approve of those plate lunches! That is more Hawaiian "plate lunch" food. Literal "Hawaiian food" is different from what you ate. There's other things like lau lau, kalua pig, lomi salmon, squid luau, and more! Plate lunch food is a mix of different cultures that immigrated to Hawaii such as Japanese, Korean, and Chinese. So you are definitely right about katsu being a Japanese thing, even the musubi is a Japanese thing. Plate lunch food is just a melting pot of cultures! I'm glad you gave Hawaii local plate lunch food a try! 😊
No problem, Lexi! I'm always eager to help people expand their view of Hawaii and the culture. Thank you for trying some of our food! A lot of mainland places won't have a ton of the genuine "Hawaiian foods", but they advertise the plate lunch foods as "Hawaiian food" because they're popular here. Since you enjoyed the plate lunches, I hope you can enjoy genuine Hawaiian dishes one day!
Hawaiian food is mixed with a different Asian ethnicities because they paid foreigners to help their sugar cane business. That's why you may see Japanese influenced foods like katsu and musabi. I live in Hawaii but thats really the extent of my knowledge on the origin of their food.
thats not traditional hawaiian food thats local popular food hawaiian food is only native food foreign immigrants dont get to decide what is hawaiian food only the natives can decide that
Damn, we need more of that accent. Great mukbang. For me, you have the perfect balance of talking and eating. And the content of your commentary is always genuine and entertaining. You're normally quite a compartmental eater but glad to see you mix it up in this one.
Hey Lexi. I still love your mukbangs and I will never stop watching because I love supporting u. I really hate that u got bullied because of your hand because it's a beautiful thing to be different, being the same as everyone else isn't fun at all. No matter how your hand is, I still love u and your mukbangs the same 😊💚💖
Your Indian food one was one of my favorites. For me, there’s no wrong way, to enjoy it, just experimenting which is what you did. Props to you for trying foods You’ve never had before, probably a lot of the criticizes wouldn’t.
I’ve never tried restaurant quality Hawaii good before as it’s hard to get here, but I have made loco moco before and it’s amazing. Chicken katsu is Japanese I think, but Hawaiian food has a Japanese influence to it anyway. Thanks for feeling comfortable talking about your hand, it must be hard to do that and I respect you did. ❤️
"If u remember story times that when u we're five years old... Then I feel like it's fake because I can't even remember what u did a day ago let alone five years old!!!" Lol 😂 I can't even remember what I did two hours ago 😂😂😂
Lexi Babe you're awesome!.. my best top 5 mukbangers. I love you're stories. Alot of girls or ppl in general can learn from u. I can relate to alot of of what you say.
That’s so Awesome!!! You tried everything I recommended to you on Instagram! Glad you like it! I grew up in Hawaii and these are some of my favorites!❤️
The people who point out that your eyebrows move, trust me, theirs move, too! Newsflash, people, EVERYBODY’s EYEBROWS MOVE! Stop picking on Lexi’s eyebrows! Get a life! If you want to see non-moving eyebrows, go look at mannequins. Lexi, don’t let what they say about your eyebrows get inside your head, your eyebrows are beautiful and normal.
My mom tries to feed me those nasty sausages to this day and reminds me that when I was a toddler, I always had one in each hand! Between the fact that I mushed them between my fingers and was constantly choking on them (literally almost died once lol) it’s safe to say I absolutely HATE them now hahaha x
I truly believe that when you can make anyone crave what your eating even if they’re full, means your really good at making mukbang videos. So gurl definitely keep doing you, I love watching you and learning about you. You make me want to do mukbang’s myself. You also make me believe if San Antonio and Dallas were closer we would totally be friends! Lol I totally understand the whole bully thing, I have been bullied all through grade school and has definitely made me stronger but partially messed me up lol Can’t wait to watch more of your videos!!!!😘😍
Why would anybody pick on somebody else’s eyebrows? I don’t get it. Wow. Just wow. Your eyebrows are beautiful and perfect. If they move, so what? Most people’s eyebrows do move when they express themselves, so what’s their point?
Your reaction at 2:35 made me chuckle xD! And I'm really sorry for what you went through in middle school. They can be really shitty to anyone who's different. For me it was my white hair which resulted in the nickname 'Grandpa' haha. I know it's not as bad, but it still made me dread going to school everyday, so I can only imagine what you must have felt. For me it just seemed like it's going to last forever, but it didn't and that's what matters. So I guess my point is: FUCK THEM! Enjoy all this exotic food you're having and don't let all that shit from way back haunt you. Thanks for the video and looking forward to the next one. Peace!
Love HAWAIIAN BBQ! But maybe next time try the foods before adding extra? Like the Katsu and sauce alone is so good girl! But love your vids!!! 😍 keep them coming!
I would love to see you do Mediterranean food if you have any in your area! Either way, love your videos. You seem like such a lovely person, your excitement over food is contagious 😂
Your Indian food Mukbang was one of my all-time favorites! I have watched it a dozen times and counting. All the dipping and the mixing and the experimenting, yessss! I loved it.
Aloha LEXIIIII!!!! Love this mukbang so much!!! ps. I'm so happy your opening up more and more and showing your hand more!!!! You are so brave and confident and sweet love ya girlie 😊😙
She is so real & funny , I wish it was more people in the world like you ! You really are amazing ❤ & so what if your hand isn't like everybody else's , it doesn't take away from how great & cool of a person you are 💕.
I’ve lived in Oahu my entire life! Hawaiian cuisine has a lot of influence from other cultures, which is why it’s usually considered a melting pot. It all goes back to the rice fields, where workers from a bunch of differing cultural backgrounds would intermix and thus share recipes! A lot of our food comes from Japanese, Chinese, Spanish, etc. cuisine! For example, the chicken katsu :) Katsu is indeed a Japanese dish, much like the concept behind spam musubi’s (which is sushi inspired). However, I guess the proper way to explain it is that chicken katsu, spam musubi, loco moco, manapua - these are all “local” foods, but they’re not actual hawaiian food. Actual hawaiian food would be food like kalua pig, paiai, poi, laulau, lomi-lomi salmon, etc.
I have very Vivid memories from when I was 5 years old and they're definitely not lies. I love your videos but you tend to put a lot of other people down if you're not on the same page as them or you don't agree with them. I've noticed this after watching quite a few of your videos you talk yourself up alot but put others down in the same process maybe it's something you could work on and it could help you open up new relationships and friendships in your future. I don't think people want to be friends with someone who talks down about others, is accusatory or is judgement, it's all a part of growth and accountability. The whole "this is just who I am" is long gone. Nobody wants to be around someone with that type of ego
I LOVE SPAM MUSUBI!!! and Katsu is Japanese, but since Hawaii has a big Japan influence, I guess they turned it into "Hawaiian" with the bbq-like sauce. Another amazing video, love yaaa
Lexi your Mukbangs truly make my day!! I love how you always try new foods and you make everything look so yummy! I wish we could be friends in real life I feel like we would really hit it off!
Oh I didn't know that about the freddie mercury movie.....I was excited for it but since their leaving out that very important story about him is odd and I don't know how the movie is gonna play off. Eh well see
My nephew has 1 finger due to Amniotic Banding syndrome, His mom had TONS of doctors appointments and ultrasounds during her pregnancy because it was a high risk pregnancy and they still didn't catch it...
