What do you need help with? I replaced my carb with the $30 one from Amazon. I am running a 110 jet and it's a completely different bike! Best mod ever.

U should put a aftermarket muffler on it

I tried, but the flange does not have holes large enough and spread out enough to connect. I may have gotten a bad one, but there was no way for me to install the one that I purchased.

The 2018 came with black wheels. I am not sure what you'll get on the 2019 model. The spoke protectors are available from Amazon in all colors of the rainbow for $10 - $15. Definitely go over all of the bolts and screws to make sure they're tight. Adjust the chain. Mine was too tight. It may break in over time, but I loosened mine slightly as I didn't want to risk it breaking (no idea of the quality of the Chinese parts). Change the oil...right away. Use Rotella (15w-40 for Diesel Engines) and do it before you run the engine for more than 5 minutes. Change it again after 5 hours of use. I suggest changing the carb to the Mikuni VM26 30mm for more power and a better overall bike.

jhawk1977 thanks for such a quick response, have you talked to anybody that’s gotten there’s already assembled? And that’s all the stuff I was planning on doing based on other videos I watched. And how hard is it to put a new carb in? As you can tell I’m a noob with this (just got my motorcycle permit a couple weeks ago) and everyone says to get that same carb you mentioned. Do you think that’s something I should bring it to a shop for and get done right away before riding it or could I do that maybe a little bit down the road?

I wasn't aware that ordering it assembled was an option, so no, I don't know anyone...carb is easy to replace. It's just a few screws and you pull off the air line and gas line (you'll spill some gas). You'll see once you get the bike and the carb, how easy they are to interchange.

Yes, I use the stock chain and a lead-acid battery. I don't see a need to upgrade to lithium. I live in warm climate and my bike is parked in a garage year-around. Plus, if the battery fails, I can just kick the bike over and put it on the charger when I get home. Lithium costs twice as much and I don't see a benefit for my personal use.

Agm are the way to go kinda expensive but much better

As long as that distance does not include speeds over 55. Mine tops out at 65 and it's strugglin to do that. Otherwise, yes.

Having a pipe wrapped helps keep the heat from combustion inside the pipe, therefore increasing fuel burn and power. This also helps improve the exhaust scavenging effect which increases the performance of your motor. Another reason people will wrap their exhaust is to cut down on the heat radiating off the pipe...less chance for a burn and I personally think it looks better than a bare pipe.

To rust out the exhaust because they never really dry underneath, and they make the bike overheat faster because it's air cooled and can't dissipate the heat properly. There is no benefit at all.

One thing about this bike the stock exhaust is really close to the bowl of the carb. It can cause issues if it's really hot. Wrapping the exhaust dissipates the heat a bit.

A few hours. You can do it in about 3 to 5 hours depending on how familiar you are with tools and dirt bikes.

I use Rotella 15w40 oil. I use Chain Wax for the chain. I use Maxima 15w fork oil. It's not necessary to change it, but it's recommended. You just never know and it's better to safe than sorry.

It's a great bike. Does everything I need it to do. Read some of the other comments here and you'll see they are all favorable.

It's simply changing out the jets in the carb to allow more or less fuel/air mix.

@@jhawk1977 thanks I did some research on the jets and now I'm kinda understanding it and just purchased a nibbi 30mm carb and a new exhaust. from the review on amazon this one guy really had good things to say about it and had a few pics of the nibbi carb on his hawk I also got digital cluster and LED replacement bulbs on the way too, if all this goes well I may change the sprockets but I really like to creep around the woods and trails not really sure if those sprockets would be to my advantage, thanks for replying!
