Two things: 1) the conductor of ROGERS: THE MUSICAL is Marc Shaiman, who wrote the song and is a hugely famous Broadway composer. 2) The 107.6 radio station that keeps showing up in the show is a tiny reference to 106.7 Lite Fm, a radio station here in NYC

In the bonus scene of the Roger's musical, the second half is full of super heros and the entire song of who they are and what they need to do, but in the first part, all of the characters dancing aren't the "super" heros, but instead are the true heros: the essential workers.

Something I noticed is when Kate mentioned "Being a hero isn't about flying around in a cape or shooting lasers" is very similar to Mysterio's words in Far from home. When you put them together, you get something like "You dont need a cape or lasers to be a hero, but you wont be seen as one without them".

I would like to remind everyone that, while Fisk has been beefed up, him taking the arrow without a flinch is due to his body armor. It was a callback to when Matt tried stabbing him in S1 of Daredevil, with the same result of Fisk brushing it off.

The scene of them making the arrows reminded me so much of Home Alone.

I was disappointed with the finale. Enjoyed the series overall but felt like Kingpin was shoe-horned in as the big bad villain and him fighting (and losing) to Kate and then “being shot” was just too fast of a timeline for just being introduced imo. Not to mention he doesn’t really have any clear motivations or relatability like he did in Daredevil, just that’s he’s evil. Hopefully they’ll explore that more down the road though. ALSO the amount of tracksuits that showed up was cartoonish, felt like the Smiths from the Matrix 2 haha.

My wife noted another critical clue about what a person thinks they are. Through all the previous episodes, Eleanor is wearing dresses in the red scheme. At the final party she is in black. Indicating that she _thinks_ she is leaving that life.

Kate bishop, and yelena belova have to be the MCU's Rookies of the year this year. Both of them were amazing, and hailee steinfield, and Florence pugh have amazing chemistry with eachother.

I like Jack. He has a personality that society is missing in this day and age😌

No-one noticed the "upset face" from Clint's daughter when he calls Kate to help him with the Ronin Suit? Made me think on a probable troublesome relationship between her and Kate, since Clint was practicing with her in End Game, and now he comes home with a stranger with great archery talent to (probably) replace him.

Ooh, one thing you mentioned at 1:45 - Elenor wears red because the tracksuits & Fisk wear red -- in the first episode, Elenor tells Kate to "put on the red dress on your bed" for the gala/black market auction. This plays into Elenor trying to groom Kate into working for her security company and joining the family business.

Kingpin said “Family don’t always see eye to eye” before he was shot. He was definitely just blinded and not killed. I’m excited for more Kingpin in the future, the MCU needs strong villain characters.

Again.. My favorite part were the scenes with Yelena & Kate. Their scenes together have been some of my favorite storytelling in all of the Marvel shows. Easily. I really hope they make a Hawkeye & Black Widow show. Florence & Hailee’s on screen chemistry is superb.

I know that Pym particles are a huge source of continuity errors (the tank keychain, Scott standing on the arrow,...) But I'll still point that one : as Pym particles are supposed to conserve mass even when reducing the size, that owl shouldn't be able to lift that truck

It’s funny how no one has pointed out that AntMan was actually at the battle of New York. He was apart of the Time Heist. I think it was a meta Easter egg. As soon as I saw him I instantly thought of Endgame.

I find it so interesting that Kingpin is a villain of Spider Man, Daredevil, Echo, and presumably now Kate Bishop. Meaning, he can pop up in any of those properties. ❤️

The scene when Hawkeye was planting those explosives in the building had a real Die Hard vibe to it. Loved it!

Haven’t seen it mentioned but the ending musical was also a fantastic salute, subtle to essential workers during the pandemic

When I was watching the recap with my family, I told my mom that the people arresting Jack are probably fake cops. My mom said they are actors. Well, she’s not wrong

The Hawkeye series far exceeded any expectations I had when it was initially announced. The scenes between Clint and Kate were so wholesome. I would pay good money to see Rogers the Musical but was a little disappointed we didn't get a typical end credits scene.

I think the greatest casting in all of the Marvel cinematic history has been JK Simmons as J Jonah Jamison and Vincent D’Onofrio as Wilson Fisk.

I didn't realize Jack was the Swordsman until I saw him with the sword on his hip in this episode LOL - the ONLY twist they got me with in this series. I kind of want to see him return.

What about Val? I kept expecting to see her. After all, she's the one who sends Yelena after Clint at the end of Black Widow. Also, I really hope we see more of Yelena in the future, there wasn't enough of her in this show and her final confrontation with Clint felt a bit anticlimactic to me.

Kingpin gonna to come back in Daredevil with a eyepatch

Spoilers I guess... My guess is since they timed Matt and Kingpin's returns the same week as this show was going on and both this and No Way Home referencing each other, that I think that Matt will reappear as Daredevil proper in Echo and Kingpin is still alive like in the comics. So Echo is essentially going to be Daredevil Season 4.

Hey Ryan! Did you notice Kingpin just rips the door from the car with one hand? Then he survives an explosion. Then a shot to the head. I think he's taken the super serum.

That transition to keeps was so organic nice job ryan

Didn’t they mention in Antman that exposure to the pym particles without protection ie…the suit/helmet would drive them insane and affect their brain chemistry

I think they get more with Florence Pugh than they were expecting, she is such a good character actor that she gives other actors higher stage as well, Hailee Steinfeld crackles in here scenes with her and although Jeremy Renner is good throughout, and the scene with Pugh are not the best contrived or scripted, however its nailed by the acting and the empathy that has been won in both characters by the delivery or their roles . a Rising tide raises all boats. Loved the whole series, I think kingpin was good but his appearance in the series in the end a bit rushed.

I’m loving that the LARPers stuck around, really thought when they first showed up that it was going to be a one off comedy moment for Clint to get his suit back but I really enjoyed watching them

Kingpin connects to more than just simply Daredevil or Echo, he's connected to a wide spectrum of villains and heroes to come like Moon 🌙 Knight.

I was so excited that Kingpin is back that I was actually rooting for him during his fight lol I was so relieved when I find out that he could still be alive

Hey, did anyone else notice that Adam pascal was singing in the musical “Rogers” and he played the character Roger in “Rent”? They even make reference to rent being too high in the song.

Technically the post credit scene did add in something for the future of the MCU. Steve sings “Things look dark but I know this can’t be the end. There’s a future and I know that with the strength you bring us we’ll rise again.” (53:08) Sounds like a promise of the rise of new avengers and more to come in the MCU future!

Yelena also said "It should have been me," similar to the line Clint said in Endgame after he found out Natasha died. Cool call back.

Kingpin's fight with Kate sets up that he'll be fine after his encounter with Echo. Remember in that fight, Kate shoots him twice, square in the chest and he just pulls them out and keeps fighting her. Ok, yeah, guns are a little more deadly then a bow and arrow, but him getting shot was to remind us that he's tough and can take a lot of damage and still keep on going. He'll be back in Echo, and we'll also get DD back in Echo to set up his own show later on. And I am so not mad that the post-credit scene didn't set anything up in the future because we got a complete sound of Rogers: The Musical. I just wish we would get the whole thing :( I'm not a big musical guy but dang it, I want to see Rogers!

I do love that the cufflinks are what canonized Daredevil, and in turn every other Netflix show because The Punisher was in Daredevil Season 2 and the four main shows crossed over in the Defenders.

I think they made Jacques join the layperson so he could gets a comic accurate suit ,and maybe he'll get the name swordsman in the guild he joined.

So I am relatively new to the channel and have been binging a bit. But I have to say, Your Mom is the best Easter Egg. It is literally better and better everytime. In this one I was completely caught off guard and actually burst out laughing. Chef's kiss.

I wonder, when did Barton actually first get called ''Hawkeye'' in the MCU? Everyone was just calling him by his name (as they did with Natasha, and not calling her ''Black Widow'').

"Rodgers the Musical" is way better than it has any right to be.

I think the fact that Maya's shot is heard right when Fisk says "Eye to eye" is a hint that it's going to be a blinding shot like in the comics, not a kill shot.

The finale was not bad just alright. Honestly, I know the KingPin isn’t dead (they did it “off screen “ ) and you shouldn’t treat him as to big and bad for Kate to beat. He underestimated her and Fisk is still flesh and blood. my biggest problem is why the watch was even important to the tracksuits or anyone. I felt very intimated by KingPin and yes there’s less blood because Disney+, that doesn’t bother me.

It's also a different tree at the end of no way home, so it's possible that it takes place after the events of hawkeye, like maybe a week after? Depending on how long it would take to get a replacement tree, or maybe they have a backup one like in the grinch (unlikely but funny)

I told weeks ago that this series was paying homage to Planes, Trains & Automobiles, but some dumb nerds doubt it the ending of this episode was EXACTLY like the ending of that movie. only thing missing was the song Everytime You Go Away

I love that you said Edgar Wright's Ant-Man, in the end everything about it still felt like his movie.

Since we didn't see kingpin actually get shot, I think there's a good chance that it wasn't Fisk who got shot, but Maya ( we only hear shot fire ,bit not who). The echo series could start with Maya recovering ,and hunt for kingpin.

I don't think this is the same Kingpin. He's probably a variant because tge Daredevil Kingpin just wouldn't wear a goofy Hawaiian shirt or work out of a shop's backroom. He also takes a lot of punishment that makes it feel like he's got some enhanced abilities. It doesn't feel like it's the same Kingpin.

The best season finale on Disney Plus to date. Hawkeye may have started off slow, but they totally have stuck the landing. The only downfall is that we needed an post credit scene and showing a musical that Feige/Disney could have release separately unfortunately doesn't count for me!

After watching this, I just want a new team consisting of; Hawkeyes, Yelena, Red Guardian, Jacque, Bucky and Cap. Bucky and Clint as the straight men to everyone else’s super heroic lunacy.

Alright so here what I want to say about the mocking bird reveal and its relation to the question on if Agents of Shield is MCU canon. Well I think it depends on how you look at it, if you see as only the person with agent 19 has to be mocking bird instead of the person with the name Bobbi Morse can be mocking bird or vice versa. Here's how it could make AOS canon for one we never get told what Bobbi SHEILD number was before hydra was revealed (Unless I wrong), and the only thing we know about her is that she has codename mocking bird, so just because they have the don't have the same name or number doesn't mean both Lauren and Bobbi can have the codename mocking bird. Also if Daredevil can be brought back into the MCU means AOS can too Tell me your thoughts or what I said makes sense

I’m gonna need for Ryan to rewatch every episode of Agents of SHIELD, every Captain America, Captain Marvel… every time a SHIELD agent makes an appearance. Cause I need to know how many times agents were wearing Rolex watches. I mean… I enjoy the egg of Clint’s wife being an agent/Mockingbird. I love that. But why the hell are top secret spies doing top secret spy shit wearing Rolexes??? And if this is some kind of retirement gift, why the hell was it in Avengers tower??? And why the hell are top secret agents doing top secret spy work and assassin work and all that wearing sure fire identifying marks? Complete with Agent number??? You mean to tell me that when Natasha was interrogating those dudes in the beginning of Avengers 1, all they had to do was steal her $50,000 watch off her wrist before tying her to the chair and they would’ve discovered she was a spy??? I need answers. The watch makes no sense.

I think Bobbi Morse can still be the MCU’s official Mockingbird. Laura can be “the original Mockingbird” while Bobbi may have been assigned as Agent 19 after her, in the same way that Nomi from No Time to Die became the new 007.

It was a nice detail when Kate was fighting Yelena in the office you could hear the radio playing 106.7 which is a popular NY radio station that plays only Christmas music from Thanksgiving through Christmas.

I like the idea that Antman was included in the Rogers musical bc it’s like Scott goes around saying “yeah yeah, I was definitely there. I helped out. We’re friends.” Which he would definitely do.

Prediction: Wilson was a Skrull. Enter the prelude to Secret Invasion. It would certainly be a great jump off point for Maya in the larger MCU.

Love this episode. The one thing I would have loved to see was Yelena somehow getting her vest back from Clint. The vest could still be in play, probably locked up somewhere in a Damage Control vault.
