It’s good to see on screen because it will get people from all walks of life thinking about the blip, thinking about what would happen if they experienced such a thing, and will get them ready to at least think in a different way in their daily lives when things like climate change force evacuations. People who have the power to make changes for the betterment of all will have thought of details not previously thought about before, and societies around the world will be the better for it.

Probably best case scenario obviously once they are caught up on what happened. Imagine coming back and finding out something much worse happened to your child during those 5 years and there was nothing you could do to save them and they were so alone.

I'm with Josh on this one. I'd do anything for my kids, but if I cant be there, I'd hope that someone else steps in and would be eternally grateful to them for doing so. Of course, the kid would have to choose which parent to live with at that point, but I wouldnt take that result too hard.

It’s for parents with no family i think so I’m spared but I would be so sad especially if they call them mom or dad and if we don’t share the same value but i know with time we would share custody because they dont entrust a child to just anyone anyway and I’d be grateful and we would have become family together 🤞🏾.

A little concidence that I thought was cool! Throughout Hawkeye, Kate has been clad in purple fabric. In most of Yelena’s appearances outside of work mode, Yelena has been clad in yellow fabric. Purple and yellow, despite being opposite colors, are actually complimentary. Definitely a coincidence but a cute one at that.

I like how each of the D+ shows tell the story of how the characters get their suit upgrades. Whereas in a movie you just see the character wearing it without context.

The movie also has context, what are you saying? Tony's ofcourse were upgraded armor suits with hotrod colors, Cap's is inspired by his Bonds-selling Propaganda costume, Black Widow's are black as that is typical espionage costume for the black widow assassins, Spiderman's was reconceptualized design of the OG homemade costume of peter, etc.

I am surprised you did not mention that while at the Battle of NY plaque, Clint apologizes and walks away as the scene blurs out of focus, moves to the next scene with Kate Bishop out of focus and then refocused thereafter. Could be the first hints at the MCU referring to the background of Clint in the comic, where Hawkeye was a villain before reforming and becoming a hero. Or hinting at his time as Ronin, where someone helped with locating targets, transportation, funding, etc. and Clint has since realized that his vengeance quest was used by someone like Fisk or Val to deal with threats.

17:22 The Helicarriers at the end of Age of Ultron were supplied by Agent Phil Colson in the Agents of Shield series. With Nick Fury commenting on how they were supplied by a old friend. So while Phil Colson did originally appear in the Marvel movies, and that the series is no longer available on Netflix, the actions of the series were referenced in a movie. TLDR: No but yes

Agents of Shield was on Netflix because of the abc-Netflix deal, not because it was a Marvel-provided Netflix creation akin to The Defenders. Small nitpick, but yes, I agree that Nick Fury in Age of Ultron referred to Coulson a bit there, just chose not to elaborate on it for... reasons.

Ive enjoyed lots of the phase 4 stuff (with eternals being a great setup movie but cinematically a complete mess), but this series has actually got me the most excited about what's next and the most connected to a freshman in the MCU (props to the direction and hailee steinfeld). Great story telling and tying in Fisk got me SO pumped. This is one of the only properties where they start us off on a ground floor that really has somewhere to build to. And kudos to you, who always has a way of offering insights while amping up the audience for what's coming. Your enthusiasm is infectious!

I love love love how the MCU shows the different perspectives of the blip because to them it was an instantaneous dust and undust. Just loving how they are addressing the different ways this is affecting different people around the world.

The timeline almost fits perfectly to have had Kingpin Dusted and just now returning. They could honestly use that as the explanation for any of the Netflix Defenders and I would be all for it.

I think king pin is the most terrifying because he's the mist grounded among these villains we can watch him actually hurt our heroes He's also the most relatable to a villain in real life if it existed

@@gogofastful He's scarier than superpowered murder machines like Ultron and Thanos because Kingpin takes things personally and will absolutely send hitmen after your family and other loved ones when you annoy him. Your regular Avengers level threat may kill you, but Kingpin will make you wish you were dead.

Erik if you look at the doorknob at around 2:58 in the beginning when Yelena enters the bathroom only to get dusted away a few seconds later, the doorknob is shown then disappears then shown again as the camera moves.

So Hawkeye takes the hearing aid out of 1 ear and can't hear anything. He can only hear out of 1 ear? I don't know the history of his hearing loss.

In episode 2, when Kate asks him how he lost his hearing, you have a clip of all the time he was beaten or blown by explosions. Then he answer "too hard to tell" Using only one hearing aid and being almost deaf without, we can assume he's completely deaf on the right side and has some hearing remaining on the left side

He took the post-quantum arrival Thanos ship Avengers HQ mega bombardment, and then the "rain fire!" bombardment - very close to each other time-wise, with no helmet/ear coverage. That alone would stress the shit out of humanoid ears (if your tissue isn't made of much stronger cells like Steve, Prof Hulk, Thor, etc.).

In the Netflix Daredevil series, people were afraid of calling Wilson Fisk by his other name. Hawkeye/Clint casually calls him The Kingpin with no problem.
