The Hawkins Precision Heavy Tactical 1-PC mount is the premier optics mounting system in the Hawkins line-up. From start to finish they are machined from a single piece of 7075 billet aluminum to produce a reliable, bind free mounting of your optic.

My comment is about Hawkins and Nick specifically. I recently had a problem with a bottom metal mag release and contacted Nick. Between the two of us there were 20 email exchanges and Nick wouldn’t quit till the problem was solved. So I’m speaking as a character witness that if you ever have a problem Nick is going to bulldog it till it’s right! Very impressive customer support. Thanks Nick.

It’s very nice. I believe all the trend for aluminium is purely because cnc tooling machining can produce more products and easier to manufacture. At a cost of longevity. I’ve had a DNZ gamareaper show slippage and my scope creeping (308WIN recoil). I’d like to see a torture test with high recoil calibre and mounting a heavy torch on the diving board and seeing if it fractures and cracks or warps after a few hundred rounds. I totally expect any aluminium, even 7075 to warp when a lot of weight is loaded onto diving board accessory cap and a lot of recoil (nighttime hunting). I like torch on scope or diving board as I’m only on foot and leave it on the ready and don’t want side stock mount for weight imbalance slinging rifle, but it’s more important to understand strain on weak aluminium with heavy torch and high recoil. Yes I can reposition torch or get a lighter one etc. still want to see torture test. Please also discuss coefficient of thermal expansion on receiver or pic rail and various aluminium vs steel vs titanium etc.

Will this fit a Objective Diameter: 56mm? aka a Arken EP-5 5-25X56 FFP Illuminated VPR - Zero Stop - 34mm Tube

Both the 1.27" and the 1.5" height mounts will easily fit a 56mm objective, even on the heaviest barrel contours.

What do you recomend for a NF ATACR 7-35X56 going on an Impact with a 1.250" straight barrel in 6 Dasher? 1.27" or 1.5" height? 0 or 20 moa?

Unless there's a hand guard over your barrel, 1.27" will be just fine on height and 0 or 20MOA will allow you to have a 100 yard zero with no issues on a ATACR.
