The Haworth 1940s Weekend is a fantastic day out with all manner of 40's memorabilia and memories on offer from army equipment, old cars, people in fancy dress, 1940's singers, vintage shops and tea rooms and lots more
This nostalgic wartime event is a popular tourist attraction to bring people to Haworth and for the village itself to let it's hair down and enjoy some good old fashioned 1940's fun!
Haworth is a village in West Yorkshire probably best known for it's links to the Bronte Sisters (the Bronte family used to live at the parsonage here).
Every year Haworth opens it's streets, it's park and it's shops and businesses to the 1940's weekend which is a commemoration and celebration of everything 40's from the music to the dress to the wartime effort and you can see that all the way through the village from army vehicles and displays to the cosy tea rooms with everyone in 1940's dress.

I live in Halifax but isn't Yorkshire gorgeous? It looked like you had a fantastic day with the beautifully well maintained train and the 40's weekend. Everyone seemed to be having loads of fun and I remember Brighouse have a 40's weekend too and that was fun. I love all your videos and you do seem to get about a bit. Don't you like home? 😂 Thanks again for an amazing video and they all seem so bright and colourful.

Absolutely the best representation of haworth 1940s weekend I have ever seen ! I felt as though I was there , (and I was) that’s a serious shift you put in and very well photographed . I even saw myself !

We have done a few 40s weekends but not that one yet its been lovely to see i d think its a bit hilly for me not able to walk much but really enjoyed it thank you Neil x

This was so fun! I visited Haworth while on a tour this Spring. The 40’s costumes were great. And Churchill and Clementine were the best! Enjoyed watching so much!

really enjoy these vlogs mate,I started following the macmaster when he done this type of vlog but his channel has just gone to the dogs now with the endless breakfasts,he's just spent a month in the states and all we've seen is the back end of overpriced restaurants,keep this style mate....oh and the music👍😀

Some of the RAF uniforms are not authentic. For instance, one of the guys was displaying the rank of Senior Aircraftman (SAC), a rank that did not exist in the 1940s. Also, stay bright buttons did not exist till the 1970s.

Nope. No it isn't. Ps - Shira is a Local Government Area of Bauchi State, Nigeria. Its headquarters is in the town of Yana. It has an area of 1,321 km2 and a population of 234,014 at the 2006 census.
