Oh lovely , brings it all back. These old tractors just going on and on. No fancy computers and miles of wiring. Just good old fashioned mechanical engineering, amazing! They just got on with the job, and it worked. Love it. Happy days 🚜🌿👌
Couldn’t have put it better myself Jon! As you say just simple, no frills mechanical machines you can keep going with a good spanner and socket set! Yep, nothing like some good old-fashioned hay making to evoke the past in us, takes us back to those long hot summers of our youth! Thanks for the great comment Jon, just got home from filming tonight so enjoyed your words. Cheers, Dave
It is a nice 390 Paul. Been a very reliable tractor and a good buy for this smallholder. Worth it’s weight in gold to the owner. Thanks again for taking the time to watch the video and comment. Pleased you enjoyed what you seen. Cheers, David.
Many thanks Steve. Yes it was great hay making weather, fields were full of stacked bales, I’m just pleased I managed to catch some action before it got too hot☀️ Cheers Dave
Hi Jacob, good to hear from you my friend. I was thinking you must be busy around the fields, I wouldn’t blame you making the most of the summer! Yes just a smallholding this one Jacob, couple of old classics more than enough for their needs. Simple and easy to maintain, what more do you need?
Yeh not that many 675s about now Mikey, even less of the 4WD versions. I rarely see a 600 Massey working now so nice to catch up with one still working in the Cumbrian countryside. Cheers for your comment, much appreciated. Cheers, Dave.
@@davidwinthrop7077 Good evening sir, yeah my sister farms up near there. I used to holiday there as a child, it was in this cottage over the hills by the forested area, never even had electricity there, back in the day ! Lol.😂😂🤷🏻♂️ I remember there was also a farm at the top of the hill, and he was hay baling . Happy days.
@@JB-xo4uc Morning Jon. Now that’s interesting as I know of a farmer in that area that still makes hay every year. The farm is up a narrow twisted little road on the outskirts of the village, I’ve never filmed there but keep meaning to get myself up there one summer. Could be a completely different farm from the one you mentioned but who knows? Thanks for putting that thought into my head Jon, might have to visit that area again soon.
