Scottie has a new daily ride, the Suzuki Hayabusa GSX-1300R. Before he uses it as a run around Ian is going to carry out some maintenance and replace some parts as a small project.
This week Ian removes the standard exhaust system and fits an aftermarket 4 into 1 system and end can, he find a few interesting things when taking the old exhaust off!

Them Abba lifts are a god send!, and that system came off easier than my bandit one did! lol. The new system looks and sounds sweet!, keep them updates coming.

Still gutted you got rid of the Slabby, just about to finish one of mine. I also have two 1999 Busa’s, the reason only one exhaust link pipe comes off is so that you can remove the bolts for the suspension link.

Hey Sticky, I'm just as gutted the Slabby is gone but I do get to see it regularly. Ahh that make sense, I know on the slightly newer Busa they have 2 removable stainless link pipes as we put them on Bills 2000 model.

Wow i never get that lucky, having the header bolts that loose.I Sounds good. I bet it saves a ton of weight too.

I know I can’t believe they was all finger tight! When I see them for the first time I thought they would give me trouble! That standard system does weigh a ton! Should be loads lighter 👍

Loving the videos especially the turbo bandit series as i have a stage 3 1200 and the opportunity to buy s turbo kit from a friend. When is the next one coming?

I’d remove that air pump at the front while you’re at it , save a few pounds and it won’t go through your crank cases in an accident

Normally I would remove all the pairs system but in this case decided to leave it alone, bike will just be used as a daily commuter so don’t need to worry about weight saving.

Thanks for the comment HH cbr929, I believe the noise you can hear is the exhaust where the O2 bung isn’t fitted, Mad4Bikes sent one straight out to us and now it sounds great.
