Scottie has a new daily ride, the Suzuki Hayabusa GSX-1300R. Before he uses it as a run around Ian is going to carry out some maintenance and replace some parts as a small project.
This week Ian gets the wheels back from the powder coaters, fits the wheel bearings, bits the brand new brake discs, then fits the tyres (thanks to Bikes, Trikes 'N' Stuff) and gets the wheels back in the bike
Videos live Sunday evenings at 9pm(ish)

If you stick a couple of bits of wood either side of the wheel so the wheel rests on the rim you won’t have the wheel resting on the new rotors, plus it helps when you torque up the bolts as the wheel isn’t wobbling all over the place

Thanks Paul, I did pick out a brighter Yellow but think this works much better, really is close to the MT10 wheel colour

Hey Graham, what colour did you go for? I do use kds normally for black powder coating, they did the Bandit o’clock frame. Thank you and thank you for the kind words 😎

Just something about brand new genuine parts, always feels special opening them and fitting to a bike.

@Classicmotorbikes
@Classicmotorbikes 3 года назад
Hey Buddy, I’m sure it was RAL1016 but looked it up and looks more like 1026 🙈🤷‍♂️ I think I’d go with 1026 as it looks brighter from what I’ve seen online
