Can somebody educate me? What am I missing? Wasn't this group, the Lehi, along with the Irgun, an admitted terrorist group that killed innocent people out of the belief in Jewish supremacy and sovereignty? Didn't they commit all of their acts on the basis of a potentially misguided interpretation of scripture?? Didn't they seek to work alongside the Nazis and Stalinist Russia??? These are near mainstream and fully-accepted facts, so what am I missing? How can even a Jewish man appreciate this kind of blatant evil? I am asking with no intention to judge. If I am misguided I want to know how. I can't justify murder over a foolish belief of personal supremacy--I have to spit on it. Their white/blue vs red/black dynamic is also suspicious considering kaballah. For those who don't know. The Lekhi was a paramilitary force of Jews in British mandate Palestine, with the goal of achieving Jewish self-determination. It, along with its sister forces the Haganah and the Irgun, were merged together in 1948 to form the IDF. The Lehki was founded by Avraham Stern, a poet and freedom fighter who used questionable means to achieve his goal. In fact, the Lekhi was so extreme that the Irgun and the Haganah were reluctant to join forces with them to form the IDF. Avraham had a nom de guerre of Yair, and he was killed in 1942 after being shot by a British policeman.
Wouldn’t call his means “questionable” considering his culture and where he did such things, it’s pretty accurate to the behavior of the IDF. No one calls what the Nazis did in Yugoslavia “questionable” they had a goal and they did what they did in numerous other places.

For clarification the Lehi was an armed resistance group in mandatory Palestine. And this song is their anthem. Lehi was one of many resistance organizations and fought against britian alongside Hahagana and Etzel and sometimes against these other groups.
