I knew ever since episode 2 this guy would become my favourite of the show. And sure enough, he also has the coolest fighting style.

The second he appeared in the 2nd ep I knew Suo would be my bias and I was trying to fight it. I never read the manga so I didn't know his fighting style but based on his earrings I was hoping it was aikido/tai chi/praying mantis kung fu and sure enough... he's like quietly deadly. I had a self-defense sensei in college who was in his mid-80s and could put a 6'5" 300 lbs. cop (one of my classmates) down on the mat with just wrist manipulation. Didn't even need to throw him. He had that calm, gentle aura like an Asian grandpa but on the mat, if you blink, the next thing you know is you're on the ground. Suo reminded me of him a lot when he was shown in the classroom.

Kanuma tried to hurt Suo using physical damage meanwhile Suo tried to hurt Kanuma using mental/emotional damage

Since there is so much dispute on what martial arts sou used, I am going to list the techniques down here outside of Aikido so im not sure on these.
