Hayde Bluegrass Orchestra - Crossing Muddy Waters (John Hiatt Cover) 

I sit here scratching my head. Only discovered this band a year ago. I've been around music for sometime 57 years now playing guitar and 46 of those today playing bluegrass. I've seen and heard and been around Doc, Carter Stanley and Bill Monroe mostly the old timers...I scratch my head as I watch because this band is in Norway and your the best Bluegrass band I've seen since my hair was brown and I could get out of a chair without hurting. I just love what you guys and young ladies do.

We are truly blessed to have this group amongst us in these times!

Another old, stiff bluegrass player here (mandolin) to weigh in on the thoughtful and accomplished version of this tune. Just a pleasure to hear folks who speak and sing English as a second language sound better than most of the young people who live here.

A great song that could not be done better. Fine musicians and singers. Then, there is Rebekka. Thank you for starting our Thanksgiving a week early.

Wow. Another fantastic song from my favorite bluegrass band. Rebekka's voice is amazing. She sings this song with such emotion that I can close my eyes and visualize the story she is singing about. All the musicians are fabulous as well.

I grew up listening to country and bluegrass music. At age 62 I found you on RU-vid and I have never heard anyone any better than this band from Norway! Please continue to play and sing on RU-vid as I will never be able to travel to Norway to hear you in person.

another month has passed, another twenty or more times I have listened to this. Sweet.

So beautiful. I just sit and close my eyes (not now or I couldn’t type) and listen to your wonderful, talented voices and instruments creating pure awesomeness.

I think we like them so much especially if you live in North Carolina or Tennessee, Is the fact that their ancestors were scattered throughout the Appalachians and we hear the connection, in their music and their voices, The connection is not automatic but we hear it ! In their instruments and Rebekka's voice , and together their beautiful ! And we just can't get enough ! It's like relatives we haven't seen in a very long time and they've come home, and we're just remembering them from long ago ! It's a breath of fresh air to hear family again after such a long time gone ! We had almost forgotten what they sounded like, it's been so long, and it's so easy to love the way they play and sing, we have been missing them , and it's really a blessing their back sharing their old time sounds that have faded away in the years !
