As a swede I an jealous of Norway. How on earth can this small country produce something so nice as this bluegrass? So perfect and so emotional, and with such a high degree of professionalism? I dont understand it.
I think it’s amazing (and maybe a little unusual) that a bluegrass band from Norway has a better sound than 99% of American bluegrass bands. Love Rebekka’s voice. Both angelic and haunting at the same time. I might also add that I love the beautiful Moa.
I love these folks and was very glad to have found them, top of my list now. I will say this though, there are a ton of amazing bluegrass bands in this country (America). The Appalachian region is packed with them but they do not record, they are the real deal porch bands that play for fun and the community. When I was a younger man I did a road trip all through WV and part of Kentucky to see family, I was introduced to roughly 12 groups and was blown away. The the untapped talent in that area is truly inspiring. I had always planned to go back and try and film a lot of them but it just never panned out. If you ever get to travel in that area of the country I highly recommend you ask around in these small towns and try and see some of those groups.
The government has too much power over us. We shouldn't have to worry about who the president is, because it shouldn't affect our lives as much as it does.
There are an awful lot of bluegrass going about ,,,,,WELL it doesn’t get much better than this ,,,,,,this wee lassie has a certain magic about her vocals ,,,,,,and the band ,,,,,TOP CLASS
You can say that again, I thought it is just me. This young lady has extremely great vocal range & tone.. I love Hayde blue grass orchestra and have a thing for the lead singer, yes we do. LOL Lord forgive me.. I can listen to this band everyday.
I agree wholeheartedly, what a pool of talent individually and collectively. And the singing is incredible, and wonderfully harmonious when they blend their voices together.
Can’t begin to put it into a normal sentence. What y’all create is: Sublime. Ethereal. Genuine. Soulful. Sincere. Nourishing. Tight. This West Texas boy (63 years young) is in love with what you do and how you do it. ❤️ Thank you.
Just discovered this group tonight. Can't believe they are from Norway. Just goes to show you music has no barriers and can unit people from all parts of the world.
Reminds me when my better half and I drove a beat up station wagon out to Colorado in 1981, good memories. We were in our early 20's looking for adventure.
HBO, are these original works? By now you know I am impressed by nearly everything you perform. Your covers of songs I've heard from many others are tops -- as other comments observe, your adoption of Americana genre is remarkable. To write original work in that genre all the more remarkable. Keep it up and we'll know for sure you are undercover and really did grow up in the hills of Eastern Tennessee.
I don't care what the purists say. Having an accordion in a bluegrass band is perfectly fine with me. It's one of many factors that makes HBO's sound so unique.
One of the best bands ever.! Alison Krauss and Union Station are the best ever for me but Hayde is right in there.! Wishing y'all the best from East Tennessee. 🙋♂️
This song and All My Tears are at the top of the list for me, well and It Breaks, Senor, Girl From The North Country, etc.. Okay I love them all! Hope to hear from you again one day.
Well, now I WISH that I was 'GOING OUT WEST'! I just love you Ladies and the rest of the band for your wonderful songs and inspiring music! Your uplifting presence and performances are truly joyful and uplifting indeed. Please keep on - well, um - KEEPING ON! Cheers! 😍🥰
