Hayden Christensen - 90 Minutes in Heaven interview (9/9/2015 ). Hayden talks about his latest movie with Kate Bosworth, the true story of Baptist minister Don Piper and about being a new dad.
Same here Natalie, I'm a year younger than him, I literally grew up with Hayden. He's just amazing and he brings that nostalgia into things, he isn't quite diluted by all this new stuff
+91clarie hahaha it must be something in the 90's water, coz I also don't look 33, like at all. I grew up with the 16 yr old Hayden in the TV show Higher Ground, and I fell completely for him in Life as a House. If you haven't seen it I highly recommend it because it's his best performance
+xMUTANTSWiiNEzZz You'd think the alcoholism he surely suffers from since Star Wars ruined his career would've turned him into a fat bastard like William Shatner by now.
He comes off really charming and charismatic when he's being himself in interviews. I just wish he would've had a better director to bring that out of him in the Star Wars prequels.
Why must you be such a beautiful human being? Saw star wars I was like oh he's cute, then saw episode 3 and was like ... "woah" now I'm like *mind blown*
Loved him since Goosebumps when I was a kid! I had a crush on him then freaked out with my sis when we saw the commercials for Higher Ground and was hooked on that show and was so sad when it got canceled then freaked out when I found he was going to be on star wars...ah those were the days.. He's still my celebe crush and I think he has the best crying face/can cry on que.💙💙💙
He’s 42 now and I just within this past weekend met him at a convention in Dallas and I am here to tell you, he is even better looking in person! Even my Mom who before this never thought Hayden was that good looking agreed that he looked handsome!
Very sophisticated and distinctive representative in this film 90 was very stunning like a grown man, father and can not imagine that the young man did well to work Greetings from Baghdad, Iraq
Man, so much this. If you go back and look at the behind the scenes stuff for star wars, you can see how much talent he has as you see Lucas absolutely ruining it. Hayden should have been allowed to go with his own direction for how Anakin would act. What's even worse is that it basically ruined his acting career for several years. I'm glad to see Hayden active again though.
Must be annoying to always be asked about Star Wars, forever be that Star Wars guy... like, move on, people. I mean, it's also nice to have done something that so many people remember, but it seems he'll never really be allowed to move on. Which is a pity, because in the movies I've seen with him that weren't Star Wars, he did an awesome job.
He has lost so much of his self confidence since Star Wars, he seems contained, his posture speaks for itself. This is very sad to watch, something's broken inside him :(
+Emilie BADIN He did do a terrible job to be fair. I've not seen him act in anything else though so I'll give him the benefit of the doubt. He might be similar to Kristen Stewart, yeah she was painful in Twilight but if you see her in anything else then she's brilliant.
+GracefulDanny Tbh everyone was kinda awful in the prequels. Same as Natalie Portman, her acting was bland as well, but in my opinion, did great in Black Swan. I guess the majority of the blame goes to Hayden because he's Anakin Skywalker, the character that the people were already rooting for in the originals, and had a really high expectation for the prequels. I put the blame on the script. So many unnecessary and ridiculous lines. The actors couldn't really show their true potential.
Love this guy..soulful, gentle and edgy but sometimes it's painful to watch him in interviews..it's like he is making a pact with the devil..press and fans must have hurt him real bad..
he means that anakin is older than Luke and the fact that Hayden is younger than Hamill is funny you idiots. obviously they are prequels but do you understand now?
titiv22 i'm deeply sorry I either misread it or you changed it, the way I read it when I commented was the other way around that the actor for anakin was older than luke, I must have misread it my apologies.
Pretty sure it was darth plageuis the wise that brought the dude back from the dead - anakin himself learned that one can influence the midichlorians to create life
+Faze_BilboSwaggins there's rumors that he is, and I like he acting. It's not bad, just Lucas's directing made him act "wooden" which may look like bad acting. It portrays Anakin amazingly. I could go into this more, but I'm sure u don't want to here it right now :)
We watched it just yesterday. I wanted to watch (again) Outcast, because it was in the TV. But yeah, my family took my remote and gave it on 90MIH. And I was glaring at the screen like an idiot: *"bitch, wait.. Do I know this guy?"*
listen i love hayden, hes a great actor, but theres something not right about him. i dont know what, but i think hes going/been through some rough times:(
Lolitathefrenchfry He was very young when he became famous. I think he is getting better and better as a actor, he has a style, and earlier people didn’t understand it.
I would say yes and no to your statement. The Starwars movies made him peak too early and were critically bashed. No indie or big budget studio wanted to cast him in fear of having their movie hated. His career was actually starting to take off after life as a house and he recieved a golden globe nomination for it.
he's just too shy that's the problem. almost all the time when he asks you can hear stuttering in his voice. Maybe if Anakin was a shy individual throughout all of Episode 2 he would've won an osc- NOOOOOOO
Turn to Jesus people he died for your sins, Repent of what the New Testament describes as sin. Believe the gospel obey the teachings of Jesus documented in Matthew, Mark, Luke, and John. Jesus is the only way to be saved, be baptized by faith in Jesus you can live life with him as your example. If you need prayer i'll pray for you. If you want to keep contact with a brother in Christ i’ll keep contact with you. The love of God is beyond our understanding. God bless.
starkingbiker That's a stupid argument. The poor guy doesn't get many movie requests from directors anymore. He thought the story was beautiful, and he accepted the role. If your argument was true, that would mean that he believed in the Force as he accepted his roles in Star Wars, which is a stupid way of thinking. Atheist actors have accepted religious roles, that doesnt make them religious. #Heyden!
