The cutest interview ever ♥ Vader has sith underwear Light saber poses and force-off with little Vader Cuteness overload 😍 Video belongs to Lucasfilm on vimeo
People try to say Hayden didn't do a good job at Anakin, but I was SO affected by his performance in Revenge of the Sith - its still one of my most re-watched movies of all time. Long live this legend. Also, what a chilled out dad type figure he's become! I love it.
True, Hayden did a great job, i dont think any other actor could have done that role better justice. The screen writing was not great at times but you cant blame the actor for that.
I was lucky enough to experience the originals for the first time in the theater as a rerelease and a year later the prequels hit, all while I was a kid. Hayden was great, seeing him reprise the role after all this time for fans my age was special and I was very thankful for those moments
@@Darth_Revan25 Or he is. I remember playing KOTOR when I was younger. If he got into Star Wars young, it makes sense he'd want to play the games and KOTOR is one of the best.
I love that he goes "I dunno, I'm pretty good at lego" Then proceeds to put the wing on backwards first haha dude idk why people hated him in the prequels, I've never had a problem and seeing all this love recently is super heartwarming, Hayden deserves the love after so many years of being memed on
Seeing Hayden usually calm and chill with adults, and then becoming this sweetheart angel all laughs and smiles with this little kid, melt my heart. I have a crush on him since Attack of the clone came out and now I know I will never get over it.
I always make fun that Anakin is the guy I had the longest crush on - 21 years, I'm 32 but still feel like crazy teen girl in love. I totally understand you, sis. 🥲🌹
Omg, yes, Hayden is truly an angel🥺💜 I remember watching AOTC with my parents when I was about 7 years old, back in 2008 and when I was still a little girl I fell in love with Anakin and thought "One day I'm going to marry him" hahahah now I'm 23 and I still have a crush on him! Hayden is a sweet person!💜
The way the kid's face is lit up the entire time is so heartwarming. Hayden is not only amazing for his role as Anakin/Darth Vadar, but he is also just amazing with talking with children. I can tell Hayden has a very positive aura. Love him.
"I'm pretty good at lego" he says before immediately attaching the wings backwards. :D That interview was so cute. I had a smile on my face the whole time.
This kid is better than 99% of adult junket interviewers I’ve ever seen. Such charisma. Delivers the most witty remarks without stumbling over his words.
Wow I can relate.. big time. Was lowkey havin a rough mental day and seeing this just made me feel like a child again.. like that’s Anakin.. imagine being taught how to twirl a lightsaber by him lol and he also seems so happy
@@chasepenn9790 how did it feel putting the suit back on?, how did it feel to come back after all these years? what was it like reuniting with ewan on set?
They're probably not allowed to ask "so Ewan, does Hayden sound like Vader with the mask on?"... I mean, he would have said lines on set like David did..
I just love how Hayden is just slowly seducing this kid to the dark side. He’s just like, “You know I think the red lightsaber is the best. It fits the outfit very well.”
The fact this kid straight up dropped "if you could have a second lighsaber like Darth Revan" just shows you how amazing this series is and why kids should be doing interviews for the movies and shows before they release, no one is more excited than the kids man.
When he said "if you could have a second lighsaber like Darth Revan" I just "WHA?!", and immediately returned the video to listen carefully to confirm. What an awesome kid. Polite, talks very well (not shy at all), smart and knows Darth Revan, his parents must be so proud of him.
The fact Hayden put the wings on with the cannons facing backward, and it passes the young sith's careful examination, just makes this video all the more adorable.
@@zachcoles4296 This kid reminds me of myself when I was a kid I remember when I was in 2nd grade the elementary school I went to had a Halloween party and I was there dressed up as Darth Vader except I had a blue lightsaber and I was sitting down and these 3 teen's were talking to me and I was nervous and they asked me can you talk and I nod my head and one teen took my lightsaber and bowed and said for you my master
The best part is Hayden's not talking to Inati like he's just a kid, He's actually talking in his genuine voice and treating Inati like a regular interviewer
Children appreciate it when adults treat them with respect, so the fact that Hayden acted so natural and not the least bit pretentious with the boy is beautiful.
I´m so happy he finally got the recognition and respect he deserves, especially after so many years of hate. His laugh is so lovely, I cant help but smile
haden has always been my fav sense i was a child great actor wish he had more time making other movies my one fav movie was with him and mase windo when haden can travel to places he had his little duel with him haha
Why did I wanna cry watching this?? ❤ Hayden is just another human being from another world, he’s so amazing! The little kid is so adorable I love this! 🥺
@@satanbakesale Don't make the mistake of thinking that British white people are any different than American white people. Remember where colonial Americans came from? All the same problems in GB minus the insane gun violence.
I feel like a proud mom. Nobody deserves a second chance more than Hayden. I really hope the fandom is appreciating his efforts a little more this time around. Fingers crossed
and is really sad that Jake Lloyd didn't get a second chance. The pressure from the toxic fandom ruined his life permanently. Let's hope he could overcome all that, one day.
@@mattmart1345 saaame. I fucking idolized Anakin and obi-wan when I was growing up. I felt like both Hayden and Ewen did amazing jobs, and i can honestly say, i have not loved a series of movies more than i have the star wars prequels.
Hayden Christensen is such a cool man. I love older Hayden, he is so damn soft spoken and chill. He makes me love him all over again. This is an incredibly wholesome and wonderful interview.
Everything about this interview is so adorable & 12/10!!! 💓 The way the smol asks questions & handles the props, the way Hayden treats him with respect but still gingerly as he is a kid, & how Hayden is still handsome & his laugh OMGG
Man, Hayden must be very humble. That kid made fun of him a lot, and he just took it. 😆 I was just waiting for one of them to notice the XWing had its cannons backwards.
I fucking love that Hayden is finally getting the very much deserved love from the public, I hope that deep down he's enjoying this as much as I am by just seeing all of it
Same here, I think they know now too like they said in some of the interviews that all that hate was from the critics. And since there was no Facebook platform or Twitter where real fans who pay to go see this stuff can actually voice their opinions
It's actually great to see Hayden getting another shot at this. I think over the years fans grew to appreciate his performance more and his current portrayal of Vaders' mannerisms and intimidating presence has been spot on.
he suffered from bad direction (Lucas) in the prequels.... if you watch him in other stuff, he is actually a good actor if you want to know how important good direction is for an actor's performance, take an acting class with a good coach....you will learn very quickly
It seems he's getting a lot of love. He deserves it, and he's brave to come back. I don't watch the show, but I've seen clips and he is definitely Vader! I also believe Clone Wars series helped rehabilitate Anakin.
It’s not that they grew to appreciate them. We always did. Except now those 40-60 year old critics retired. And people who were 10-30 when they came out are now the critics. And everyone from my gen thinks 2 and 3 are like the best movies ever. Always have
Hayden is a class act all the way. Wish more celebrities were like this. With great power comes great responsibility, and he wields it with such warmth and grace.
That was so touching! I love you Hayden Christensen thank you for not giving up as Anakin Skywalker, you did perfect looking back, it gave us time to appreciate the prequels
The most at ease and calm he's been in an interview for Kenobi. It's been a while since he's been this much under the spotlight and you can usually see he's a little anxious during interviews, even when Ewan is with him. He's so happy and effortless here, this is a very good concept for an interview and it was very sweet :)
Yes, I actually love the idea of a kid doing the interview and having something like legos for the interviewee to tinker with during the interview. It really takes away the seriousness and makes it more fun and lighthearted.
To see Hayden Christensen embraced and loved again by the Star Wars community is very heartwarming for me. I didn’t care for him in Episode 2 but in Episode 3 I thought he was great. And I always felt very bad for him because he is a good actor
I completely agree. He got stuck with a bad script at times, but when I think or read about Anakin Skywalker/Darth Vader I can't imagine anyone else but Hayden. Can't wait to see more of him in the Kenobi series.
@@joeyondakeys very true but the scenes where he didn’t need to talk and just show the emotions, like when his mom died he was amazing. That moment you can see all the anger he has and it was great
Episode 2 definitely had some clunky lines, not arguing that. But I felt some of it kind of worked with him being an awkward teenager/young adult. I for sure said some awkward, weird stuff when I was 17, 18, 19, etc. lol
i couldn't help but smile watching this interview, it was so heartwarming, hayden is such a great and precious person and the kid was so cute and made very interesting questions! this interview definitely made my day
Idk where he went after rots, but Hayden feels extremely at home back in this role and he just seems to be soaking up the fandom with appreciation, he seems great with kids , very genuine
Hayden: *speaks with elegance while building the X-Wing wrong* Me: *nerding in love while internally screaming* Little Vader: *mentioning Revan* Me: *« WHAAAAT YEEEAH MY BOY »*
This was so heartwarming, I really loved how Hayden thought about his answers and how much he genuinely laughed. You can tell he is a good father and listens well.
Let's face it, Hayden always was the best actor we have seen in the Star-Wars movies made. At least for his own role, the man IS Anakin. He went into the role 120%. Also, you can really tell how good a job he did, when he gets more impressive every time you watch the prequels.
When he started to mention a purple lightsaber I thought he was going to mention Mace Windu having one, but when he uttered the name *"Darth Revan"* I about fell out of my chair.
This kid is better at interviewing celebrities than most professionals. So natural. Many interviews feel awkward with a feeling of separation between the interviewer and the interviewee, but I didn't feel this at all here. I think children are naturally less afraid in these situations as they haven't reached that anxiety inducing self-awareness we develop as adults. As an adult you constantly ask yourself if you're doing a good job, you fear you might flub on camera, or fear you might ask something that could come off as offensive. Adults go into these situations with anxious anticipation in general. We've all seen when interviews go wrong. I bet his parents are very proud of him. He's got a terrific quick wit about him too.
This interview structure is so perfect! This kid is amazing and the best interviewer!!! Love him!!! I hope he had the absolute best time off camera as well! Hayden is a gem and so sweet, and his laugh tickles my heart!!!! Xoxoxo Thank you, Star Wars fam!!!
It’s difficult to maintain that level of humility over nine minutes when you’ve got a precocious kid razzing you. Very kind of him. And I love how his voice has gotten naturally deeper. Can’t wait to see how the series plays out.
