I mean I'm sure Hayden knows some things like from clone wars and what not. And ewan got alot of the answers right and I believe him when he talks about the Shakespeare play thing.

There are so many planets in the Star Wars universe that I’d consider the Jabbas Palace question a toughy. You may know exactly what the planet looks like but can’t remember the name and so on. They did a pretty good job on answering the questions and even disagreed with the Shakespeare one. If only she asked who Anakin’s padawan was.

But is a way to get them involved with their work. Actors picks up stuff from their roles even do they might not actually remember the main stuff. Many Actors also get ask question about when they play Doctors, Lawyers, Police Officers, etc.

I've always had a soft spot for the prequels and now the new trilogy is over I agree people appreciate 1 2 and 3

People knew at the time. This revisionist BS like they weren't some of the most popular movies of all time is absurd. I worked in a comic shop when they came out. The fans loved those movies. Guys watching them 7 times even though they were only in the theater for like a month.

I still don't think much of "Menace" but I've come to like "Clones" and (especially) "Sith". At least the prequels had something to say and an interesting story to tell. The sequels just felt like three movies churned out to a shareholders' schedule.

Growing up, I always had a soft spot for the prequels too, even if they were a little goofy at times. Ewan and Hayden were my favorites.

It's not that it's a different time. It's different places. The original is set on out outskirts of society and focuses on the military, while the prequels focus more on civilians in populated areas.

@@alphanerd7221 I mean it technically also is different time periods. The prequels were very politically charged. We saw everything, from the senate, to the people. Clone wars expanded heavily on this too. Then the original trilogy, it was pretty much a full coverage of the war from the rebels side.

A lot of interviewers are really bold these days. To me it was clear that she wasn't the biggest fan but she had so much confidence you could think she has written it herself.

Not likely that was Lucas this is Disney. The Obi Wan series is all ready ridiculous with a duck waddling Leia nobody can catch and super woman Reeva or the 5th sista who like Rey can do anything. Its not a Luke/Obi Wan story.

Its not just the female characters its the male ones too basically the Disney Characters. Even Grogu, lets see what direction they take him according to Lucas he should be trained and not a automatic super hero like the names mentioned This show is called Obi Wan Kenobi. It is suppose to be about Kenobi and Luke Skywalker. It not the Adventures of Leia and Reeva whoever she is, a completely new character never heard of before and she has more screen time than Kenobi. Kenobi is the supporting character in his own series and Luke is not even in it. Regardless this show is for the new Disney Star Wars fans and if you like it that's who it was made for not the Lucas Star Wars fans. For Lucas fans anything after the Clone Wars (even Rebels) series is legend and the sequels some event that happened in a parallel universe in a galaxy far far away from Lucas fans. Enjoy and spend money on the Disney merchandise. May the Disnery force be with you.

Tbh I think all the new star wars stuff is a cash grab and doesn’t have the same heart as the earlier stuff though I did enjoy rogue one and the mandolorian. But a lot of the criticism fans have comes across as sexist since it’s always towards the female cast, and it wasn’t really criticism but bullying especially to the girl who played rose. Which is why I’m defensive when I see the ones getting the most hate are the kid and the woc. I mean look what happened to the actor who played kid anakin. I didn’t pay much attention to the promo for this series but as far as I know it was meant to be about obi wan, I didn’t see anything but Luke, it would be boring if it was since at the start of a new hope Luke has only ever been a farmer, never been on an adventure and only know obi wan as some old hermit. So what would that show be about? Without breaking the continuity. Leia makes sense because she is in politics and has had a lot more adventures then look did prior to the movies. As for reeva, every show has a villain , what did you expect? It had to be new so they could do more with the story and the character otherwise it wouldn’t be very interesting since we already know what happens to everyone else. Rivas just your standard bad guy for obi wan to fight he’s still the main character.

I know lol, she was trying too hard to make a nerdy connection with them, and sometimes talked over them. It seemed a little much, and you could tell they were slightly annoyed at times, but they stayed positive.
