Hayley's creations are some of the most original gowns out there. She should have the right to create and get paid fairly and own her designs. They are just dragging this court case on hoping she'll give in, give up, but she is a fighter and Hayley you just keep on fighting girl!!
The mom is a hoot. She is so proud of her daughter and says "the mother of the bride" with such excitement and devotion to everyone she meets. I love that for this bride.
ugh JLM couture should be ashamed.... Hailey legally can't use her own name for her business anymore or on social media which is nuts! I hope the word spreads about how JLM screwed her over and is still selling her dresses under HER NAME that she cant use or benefit from. Hailey paige dresses should be pulled off the racks to keep JLM from taking the money that HAILEY deserves.
it is not because of them... it was mutual agreement, it was a big mistake she agreed to without having a lawyer review the contract to cover her back in case of termination. She sold her name indefinitely to get the deal. I'm not saying the clause was fair or right... but you dont sign anything you arent prepared to live with
Nobody gets screwed. People take offers that seem amazing when a brand builds them up and they don’t read contracts correctly. The designer then grows in stature and forgets that. You can tell she knows that because While I totally feel for her, all her RU-vid videos on the topic have just used emotional language and no business or law facts. It’s harsh but they’re not some evil corporation.
I wonder if she can change up her name and sell her new creations under her umbrella? I mean the gowns that are at the store are unfortunately theirs, but she can still make her own bank. Maybe if enough people boycott not purchasing her dresses from them then that is lost inventory and they might let go of her dresses entirely.
@@Cantetinza17 remember that she became famous because they gave her a platform and helped her reach out to wider audience. There are so many great artist and designers out there who never had the same chance, and we havent discovered them yet. Haley knew that her career will hit if she signed the deal with them, and it was mutual benefit. Boycotting the company that brought her out to you and me is not very ethical. If someone becomes famous because you worked day and night on your publicity and marketing to make them visible, then you have rights to be protected and to benefit too. Ppl are dealing with this emotionally and one sided, which is really unfair
I've seen Hayley Page dresses on SYTTD but not like these. These designs are really different and unique! I know see why brides follow her on social media.
Hayley is in the middle of a huge lawsuit right now, and she resigned from JLM couture (the company she designed for) so the designs currently on her Instagram are by another designer. Until the lawsuit is finished, JLM won't let her legally design anything at all for any company so she hasn't been able to produce anything new since 2020.
@@angelapotter8084 that's awful. What right do they have to stop someone from designing again? Like they own her designs okay then but also her future designs?
If the shops would quit ordering the gowns designed by her under JLM’s contract, that would send the best message to JLM. When Hayley is able to design again under a new name they can stock those.
Its like buying art seized in WW2, immoral but because of the value and that all of She-who-must-be-renamed works are pieces of art people are going to want to buy. Everything she touches glitters like gold
They have. Go google and look at insider. The amount of shops stopping stocking the gowns or sending orders back because brides no longer want them is growing!
I really didn't like the first 2 at all! They both made her look so short. I'm so glad she chose the 3rd one; it fit HER well and made the most of her figure.
She sold the use of her name which, in hindsight, was a poor decision. Realistically she did this to herself. She needs to rebrand outside of her name at this point. She's talented enough people will follow her and she could design so many other things if they also have a non-compete clause. JLM spent a lot of money, time, effort and labor-she didn't do it alone.
I was just thinking - if she gets married and changes her name, then at least she can have a new name to design under. But isn’t she also bound by a non compete clause?
It can’t become a show. She broke off with JLM. She’s legally unable to use her own name in business now. Which is sad. She’s very talented, and a really sweet person.

I mean, I guess that they could make a series. If people want to watch a knock off designer who has been roped in to design under someone else’s name who’s work doesn’t hold a candle to Haley’s work.
These dresses compared to all the other videos are so unique and stylish and youthful..And extremely elegant no comparison to the other videos I was watching from other channels the other ones were just ordinary compared to these!
Hailey makes dresses unlike anyone else -- the way JLM screwed her over is obscene. If you love her work, please support her, not the brand under her name that she no longer owns or profits from.

The Mercury dress was for sure the best one on her, it worked with her body so we'll! I'm pretty sure my wedding dress will be a hayley Paige dress lol they're all sooooo gorgeous!

Follow her new channel "All That Glitters" on RU-vid, JLM took her name away from her and the court has told her she can no longer go by that name, even though it was her birth name from her parents!
These dresses are incredible... This is now my dream to do this. I love the one on the wall to the right. I literally got butterflies in my stomach on the third one
