thats why they always say look at the parents if you want to see what type of man you're gonna have. cos 9 times out of 10 if he has a witch of a mother he won't be any better. but if his mother is sweet, chances are he turned out well too. not always mind you. but that is usually the case.

@@jessd3601 I'm not trashing America. Why should I? But Americans are usually very loud. Whenever in the world you meet them, you know immediately they are Americans for their inconsiderate behaviour towards different cultures and people and their loud talking. That's a fact!

I am lucky to have a Mother in Law who I absolutely love. Unfortunately she passed away in March. I do miss her very much.

I LOVE her mom in law - am a bit jealous but unfortunately it's my mother in law who destroyed my marriage, destroyed me, destroyed her own son .... Most of all destroyed my (our) one n only daughter/grand child... She thrived and was happy and lived a beautiful happy healthy secure life till the end though. . While we are all still suffering in our own way!!!!!!

​@@areeeash1124 If you think a wedding day is purely about the bride then you should NOT get married. A wedding is the coupling of TWO PEOPLE. Unless the groom gets to go have his own stupidly expensive party, no the wedding is for both the people getting married.

Yet at the same time they didn’t totally discount it either! They realised she loved it so they weren’t super critical about it. They just suggested she keep trying stuff on, but that they still loved the dress. I feel like if she hated the 3rd, and then any other dresses they would have totally let her try number 2 on again and pick that one. But I do agree that she was a little bit swallowed by it, that might have just been because it was a little big on her, shame they didn’t pin it too her more.

I would rent a room from these people lol

I agree about the dresses, she’s a delicate and petite upper body and the bodices weighed her down, but the entire show was all about love and support and no nonsense, ONE of a kind episode of these type of programs. Actual, graceful adults with tender feelings all around! 🙌

Hard agree. That second dress was classy and sleek while still bold and fun. The third dress looked like a 5 year old designed it haha It was so poofy and the top and bottom looked like they were at war with each other.

A slinky satin dress with a full sleeve would have done her wonders.

I try to remember that her actual dress will be made for her measurements rather than way too big, so hopefully things end up more proportioned.

When I was a dress consultant at Macy’s (back in the ‘80s), I would say the same thing when appropriate. If my eyes kept being drawn downward to the dress, rather than the woman wearing it, that’s when I would say what the husband did.
