Hayley Westenra ヘイリー singing as the lead artist at the 2009 World Games in Kaohsiung, Taiwan on 16 July 2009. 海莉 - 淚光閃閃 This was the opening ceremony concert and Hayley was the lead artist. Here are all six of the songs she was involved in, together with edited fireworks at the end and the closing music. All six songs are available separately in this channel hwivid, or as a playlist, but this video includes a few 'extra' moments and is now in full HD 1920 x 1080p.

I can't believe they sang "We are the Champions" at the end, with all of those beautiful classic songs. That was great! Good to see they had some fun with it. Hayley has such a great voice, and of course is very beautiful. And the Taiwanese singers did a good job with the English parts too -- I can't imagine doing that in a foreign language. Wow. A joy to listen too, thank you.

If I remember well, a couple of years ago NZL's Westenra was pleased by family Windsor to sing at some celebration, and she was kind enough to do - with success. Well, I dont feel sure she qould do the same if me and my friends would request her. Whatever, she is one of the most amazing singers in the world of opera.

This is the original compilation made by HWI in 2013 of all Hayley's 2009 World Games songs and part of the fireworks finale. All the songs were previously available (and still are) on our channel separately. Before today, you had to know the direct link to view this original version but now it is fully public to celebrate Hayley's forthcoming return to Taiwan! Hayley is back in Taipei at the National Concert Hall on 11 December 2015!

@@newworldforward1842 Don't be silly, I recorded the entire concert in the UK live via satellite from Taiwan, the feed was unencypted. The only reason the original 6 songs were published in 2009 but this compilation 6 years later is that the channel was limited to 15 minute videos in 2009 but that restriction was removed by 2015. If you see this or the separate videos posted anywhere else other than on HWI, they are copies.
