Thanks! It's a good idea it would be doable with this build, just the issue becomes more about lag.. here I only had 120 active enemies attacking, id have to raise it to something much higher and it's closer to 10-15fps at that point.
Custom diff V2 is only a few months old and still being improved, it's not on modio yet. I thought it was on GitHub but I can't find. I got it from the practical deep rock galactic discord.
I usually run barbed drills and vampire with cryo driller, makes for good health recovery and you don't have to rely on the secondary as much for clearing
But there is no x25 enemies on video because he lowered max enemy count (due to low fps) and he have 40 nitra supply. This video make no sense, but survivability is good.
You can change the resupply cost with the custom difficulty mods. I do agree it would be a lot harder with 80, though difficulties get more interesting when we move away from worrying a lot about nitra and more bug killing. it's very common in modded difficulties to use 40 or 60 nitra purely just to compensate for the number of enemies
Lower nitra costs are more commonly used not to compensate for the increased enemy count, but to rely less on getting good rng with nitra in the beginning so that you can spend less time restarting runs because of unlucky low nitra at the start which often results in basically unavoidable failure
