Tested emulsion vs bladder shocks today. This test used the same springs and oil and to be totally fair, I think the bladders really need different oil setup, but here is what happened and what I thought. Enjoy. Please like and subscribe.

Both bladder and emulsion shocks work well. I use emulsion on low grip tracks or big jump tracks in the uk. Great videos 👌

That was a great video with real time testing and results. The emulsions looked like the car was calm with good rotation. With the bladders it seemed like the car got more reactive especially in the front like it turned in harder and the back stepped out more abrupt. Great footage🏎💨👍

With the bladders it was more nervous and not as planted to the track.

Ur first set up looked like it was stiff for the right track and they second set up looked a lot better for that track very nice out fit you got✌

man that is a short track with some serious packed dirt like glass but nice runs car looks good

@Danny Smith Hello, I hope all is well... I'm running emulsion on my d819rs/E819rs but I can't stop some of shock caps (mostly rear) from seeping from the bleeder screw ( threads are clean and screw is tight). I've tried copper shock bleeder gaskets from Losi (fits perfect) with no success. I usually have to clean, add a little shock fluid and re-bleed after a few track days. Thank you in advance -J

Maybe try a little grease on the threads?

I have tried a little blue lock tight at the top, I will try some grease next. I was even thinking about going to M2c emulsion caps. I do love the feel of emulsion. The fastrace/performa caps are a close second.

had one of my front shocks that was always leaking ever so slightly i tired all kinds of stuff to figure out how to make it stop leaking. finally noticed a very TINY hairline fracture in the corner of the threads to the bleeder.. not even noticeable with the naked eye.. only reason i noticed it was i used thread locker previously and i was trying to clean it out with a needle because i didn't want any of that crap inside my shock, and i had it under a magnifying glass and was like "well whatdaya know!"

Hey Danny, I heard the stock engine mount is hard to work with. Are you still running it?

I do still run it. It's a little tricky to get setup initially, but once it's setup, you never have to touch it.

was the bladder setup bled with 0 rebound looks like the rear keeps poppin up
