HBO Sign On (1975-1981) 

I like to start off my new channel with a cool introduction. This is my first video on this channel.
This is the HBO sign on that was used from 1975 to 1981. Back when HBO was not on 24/7 in the 1970's. You could actually pay HBO for $15 per month. HBO broadcast its programming for only nine hours each day, from 3:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. Eastern Time, during its first nine years of operation.
