A peaceful civilization No weapons were ever found by archeologists only agricultural tools A democratic equality based civilization All houses of exactly same size No big structure like palace found They did not have a king etc Religion confined to person and to home No big structures temples of public prayer discovered Their God was Shiva A statue of a three eyed ( trinetra) God sitting in yogic meditation ( yogeesh)posture with animals around him ( pashupathi) has been found They were the first humans to use plough for agriculture to use buttons in clothes to use standard weights and measures for commerce They had advanced arts sculpture dance music They cared for children Many ingenious children's toys found It was biggest ancient civilization bigger than Mesopotamia suneria and Egyptian civilization They were predominantly urban with hundreds of cities all over the vast north west indian subcontinent They were sanitation minded Excellent sewage system All over the cities the first to use individual toilets for each home Great public baths were there for ritual cleaning and bathing World does not know much more because their script is still undeciphered but may be linked to proto dravidian language All humans all over the world must know about this great civilization
