影片簡介:2022年2月12日起,逢星期六、日及公眾假期,東鐵實施全線9卡列車運行之試驗時間表,全線採用由現代Rotem(樂鐵)車廠製造的 R-train(於1141B合約下採購的電力動車組)。由上午7時至晚上9時的全程表定行車時間較先前縮減5至6分鐘,唯由於介乎旺角東至紅磡之間的表定行車時間在此次提速試驗維持不變,因此行駛該路段車速仍然緩慢。
註:全球衛星定位系統 (GPS) 於較密封的空間下準確度會相當低,因此未能提供行駛該等路段的測量車速。

Description: Starting from 12-February-2022, the trial timetable for running by all 9-car trains on East Rail Line is implemented during Saturdays, Sundays and Public Holidays. All trains running on East Rail are R-trains (9-car EMU procured under Contract Number 1141B) manufactured by Hyundai Rotem. The single trip journey time between 7AM to 9PM is reduced by 5 to 6 minutes. However, as the timetabled run time between Mong Kok East and Hung Hom remains unchanged, the travelling speed is still slow within that section.
Note: The accuracy of measurement by Global Positioning System (GPS) is rather low in relatively enclosed space, thus the measured speed are not taken when the train was travelling in the corresponding section.
