Did you use the regular bolts you had on youre stock bumper on the HD bumper? And what bolts do you use for the top trim to get it connected with the actual bumper and the lower valance?
Migs Ullivarri we used the regular bolts from the stock hood on the HD hood. Same with the bumpers. But to connect the lower valance and bumper we used zip ties cause we ran out of bolts lol. All you really need is the right size bolt and some washers. We also did some drilling to adjust the bumper so there wouldn’t be a lot of gaps
What’s up bro Looks dope. I’ve been trying to do this conversion not a fan of chrome. So I was wondering where I can find the paintable hd style bumper you used on this conversion. Any info would be dope bro thank you
You can’t really find one without chrome. We took off the chrome with like a scraper and then took it to get primered. Some shops won’t touch chrome so sometimes you gotta peel off the chrome yourself
That’s how they’re gonna come you gotta take the chrome off and start getting it ready for paint unless a paint shop doesn’t mind doing it but most hate dealing with chrome. Check market place , eBay, Craigslist etc.
