Xaveze Maybe she said that because of mitsuo which they thought were the culprit but it turned out to be this guy, so she may think he isn't the last one
I like how Adachi use's the Persona 3 Style look : Always carrying a gun with him, and using persona abilities from the mind instead of the card being crushed with the hand.
Considering Adachi's constant insistence that nothing he's done is his own fault, he's probably understating how bad that "tiny mistake" that got him kicked to Inaba really was.
It always bugged me what that was. Did he compromise a case? I don't think he got anyone killed because he probably would have had his badge taken away.
@@assiaelmabrouki5552 I like to believe it's something akin to the goofiness he does with Dojima, so like he messed with important evidence without considering what he was doing or such.
i think that, adachi being himself, and his behavior if you get him to rank 7 on P4G, likely it could be assumed he maybe played around with his gun that he could carry around, tho however people pointed out that's not how it really works with detective gun ownership in Japan. He probably fooled with the gun in public, maybe pointing it at people, and got reassigned to Inaba as a result. Also he mentions "You have no idea what kinda shit I've been through!". Did something else happen? Was it something with his former police unit, or some other trauma? We will never know.
I've realized something. Notice how Adachi, the only elemental skill I've seen him use (from what I know), is Magarudyne, being wind. Its funny, since Yu's Izanagi is electric, and is weak to wind attacks. Adachi has the opposite Izanagi, so he's wind, which is the OPPOSITE of electric (which make no sense, but persona logic). See what I mean? Also, from what I know, Adachi always uses Heat Riser for his first move. Also, Yosuke is best grill.
like namatame Adachi got possessed by his own shadow he just didn't transform into a huge monster until Ameno-Sagiri appeared and possessed him after the fight
it was a joke, I was saying that the appearance looks like a heartless from KH Kinda takes the fun out of it when you have to explain the joke. Also saw that you missed the joke of another comment too
"That's complete BS!" Um...Rise? Isn't your life as a TEEN IDOL a perfect example of Adachi's explanation on life? Are you REALLY the one to be calling that BS??
@@dissmess761 Not really because he is over-generalizing everything. Just talent itself wont makes it, one has to work its ass off to get things done as well, in Rise's case her "talents" only lasts until she is young and people don't get bored of her.. Dont you remember her social link? When she was actually REPLACED by someone else?. The point is, EVERYONE has talents/struggles in life,,,,,,
@@alexandrojavierpinto2501 he's an incel who murdered two women because they didn't want to fuck him lmao don't put quotation marks around "bad guy", he IS a bad guy
+RandomPl0x Thank you very much for the spoiler free thumbnail on this. I had the ending spoiled for me a long time ago, but this was a breath of fresh air.
“Living is too painful for you, but you don’t wanna die... Of course no one would understand! It makes no sense!” That’s literally called depression. It exists and it doesn’t need to make sense to be understood. Adachi is just a severely depressed individual that no one cared enough about to help. He then became angry at everyone for leaving him alone and turned into someone who has complete disdain and hatred for humanity. It only proves his point when you tell him “it’s only you” and “speak for yourself.” You are leaving him out of everything and telling him to go back to his hole, which is why he was killing people in the first place.
Naoto isn't wrong though, Adachi isn't even trying. Instead of facing his problems and getting help for his deppression, he soaks in his own self hatred and detest for humanity, but then complains about it and uses that as an excuse to fuck with everyone else.
@@Oscar-pg3tk most people with depression don't throw women into a tv after trying to rape them, adachi is a great villain and character but he is completely in the wrong in this scenario
I kind of agree with that. Even the line at 2:01 kind of strikes too, especially in my country. Some people wants to join the police just so they can carry a gun. Most of the time, I hear it from teenagers/kids.
Hashimoto Syobai Yeah. And what also sucks is that I believe a huge chunk of police officers were originally bullied when they were kids so they’re just using being an officer as an excuse to get back at those who screwed with them in the past. Which is beyond scummy imo.
@@bronzeoliniisnotfunny7885 Funny thing is, I can relate to Adachi a lot. Only without the murder part. His past in the Golden Animation just punched me in the gut. My parents died when I was 11. I lived with my drunkard uncle, and I was utterly alone during my middle school and high school days despite my attempts to make myself fit right in. I was easily replaced like I never existed at all. Here I was, sneering at all other students who fool around. I was also being shadowed by talented people despite all my efforts. Realizing that no matter how hard I try, a talented person can just swoop everything right under. That was the worst feeling, I felt nothing at all. I have emotions, but nothing was real. It's only emptiness. It changed a bit when I got my job though. I found a faint light, covering up the void of my past. I've got myself in a small circle of friends, and I am still working at full effort although I'm not *that* talented at all. Made me think that "life is not so bad after all." It sounds edgy, but that's what really happened to me. I was nearly crushed by the weight of my own misery. Had I not formed literal connections, I really would have ended up like Adachi being bored shitless of the world until I die.
actually those are costumes of the prism rangers from Disgaea which is also and Atlus title prism rangers=the lame ass atlus counterparts of the power rangers watch the videos of the prism ranger battles from every disgaea game, you'll that they are totally pathetic
Morooka didn't die by being thrown in the Midnight Channel and was killed by Mitsuo Kubo, with a clear cause of death, which is, if I remember correctly, bludgeoning or stabbing, the victims of the Midnight Channel have no traces of violence committed on them whatsoever and they always show up hanging from either an antenna or a electrical pole, while King Moron hung from a water tower, his case was completely unrelated to the Midnight Channel case, so Naoto didn't mention King Moron.
Adachi: The real world is boring, better for the world to be in control of Shadows. Me: Wouldnt it be a boring world then? Everyone thinks the same, acts the same, lives the same way. If everyone were to do the same thing, think the same thing, even LOOK the same, then thats not much of a world to live in. How is a world full of 100% copies a fun and exciting world? No opposition, no challenge, nothing. A one-sided coin is what I could call that.
My answer to Adachi: Quit being a child throwing a fit and don't think you're the only one who's had it rough, I mean Yu's "sister" is in serious condition
Even if it's true Adachi has no right of doing this just because the world is boring and their some stuff that most people don't want to see or show others even their love ones so I'm gonna say this. "Beat that Adachi ass into the ground!"
The worst that Adachi is doing is permeatting that sort of toxicity, he has been essentially shunned, left isolated by even his coworkers as they taunt him, and essentially his only way to cope is brooding by his lonesome and the protagonist when he visits from time to time unless he is pulled by work by Dojima. Adachi IS a result of his environment and abusive neurtering.
Adachi if being a cop isn't going to work for ya, how about a Soul Reaper =P *someone will get a cookie who knows the connection* Damn I can see from Adchi's point of view but geeze man
+hunnykun101 An actor reference which is funny since both Adchi and Yu have the same voice actor and the costume Yu is wearing is also another actor reference.
Mitsuru would cut off Naoto and start the battle. Junpei would wait. Yukari wouldn't go. Shinjiro would die. Ken would kill Shinjiro. Koromaru would eat a fsteak. Aigis would be attracted to Minato. Minato would stay quiet. Akihiko would ingest protein.
I would imagine that the roles of the P4 cast preparing to face Adachi and the P3 cast encountering Takaya would switch roles in other words the P4 cast talking to Takaya and the P3 cast talking to Adachi
@@epicsbroflame2869 the theory is that mankind is stuck in some seemingly endless cycle of gaining the power to control their lives and then losing it to desires, almost making the point of saving mankind pointless. And i wonder if someone is pulling the strings for it to keep happening. its a working theory, i needa figure out the story for persona 1, 2, and 3 before i can have a fully working one
superninja252 but certain Sentai never became actual Power Rangers, just like Super Sentai Jetman, the inspiration behind those costumes Yu and Chie were wearing
In the manga it's implied that he accidentally tampered with evidence, thus costing the police an important case. Since he was a first year in the force, rather than fire him they transferred him to Inaba
This has been bothering me for sometimes but if you look at it, the enemies of Persona 3,4, and 5 all have similarities. I dont think they are as malevolent as their looks. They exist because humanity ask for it. They just give them what they want. Human wish for death and release of pain of life so Nyx was created, they wanted false imagery and live in ignorance so Izanami was born, they wanted to be rule by powerful figure and let them decide instead of their own so they wont be responsible of their own decision and Yaldabaoth was created. And all three beings just want to give what they wishes. In the end, all those battle in Persona series is actually a battle against our own psyche.
Good point, but this only fits P3, P4 and P5, because the P1 and P2 enemies are not shadows, they are demons. In P2 you fight with the shadows of your party members but the rest of enemies ( and most of the bosses are demons). Sorry for my bad english dude ;-;
@@Smiley-tc9so Well you do fight The amalgamation of all people evil And he appears in both games. So there's that. Is like every 3 years or 4 years Humanity wants to kill itself.
If he was ultimate despair wouldn't he try to make the investigation team fall in despair? Instead of trying to kill them and all the inhabitants in inaba?
Adachi: You know why I applied? So I can legally carry a gun….that’s all. You’d be surprised how many are like that. The line proves Adachi right and wrong at the same time. Why? Well, so many kids and teenagers who were loves shooting would like to become police officers so they could shoot without permission. But even if they do love shooting, it’s illegal for someone to wield a gun in the real world, even police officers wield it as well, so technically all people who have a gun is breaking official order. Yukiko: Speak for yourself! Living is too painful for you, but you don’t want to die. Of course they don’t understand, it doesn’t make sense! Yukiko, there’s a literal word for that people’s philosophy, and that’s called depression. Every single person lives through a painful life, and many people are born on the exact day those people die. To the people who wanted to go through suicide either just do it or ignore it. And it worries people how the constant percent of people committing suicide rises. Adachi is twisted because his parents left him to the lower-class when undoubtably he has the determination and skill to become the best. You prove his point when you say. "Says you.", "Speak for yourself". And like Adachi’s police application, he could’ve had kept working for the agents of justice, he could’ve just been like a normal policeman, but no. He got thrown to dirt, and possibly abused.
Naoto and Yukiko also have a point. Adachi isn't exactly right at all. He was abused and treated like shit at times, but still he chose to hate everyone and everything instead of seeking help, friends, etc... he's selfish as hell and he's being pretty immature about it. He constantly blames other people for his own mistakes and trying to make a sense of his own madness.
@@assiaelmabrouki5552 Yeah, is it understandable why Adachi became the way he was? Yes, was he right? No, he chose to shun all interactions and socializing and instead stewed in his own loathing and hatred.
3:02 My response: what about people that can rig the system in their favor? What about people that learned to succeed but started with nothing? People with talent can succeed, yes, but does that mean everyone does? If people with talent are people, won't they make mistakes? Won't some of those gifted individuals be their own undoing? Sometimes, people succeed because of luck. Others succeed because they had the money. Others had the political or social leverage. Others steal. Others are smart. On top of all this, talent will mean doodly squat if it isn't trained further to become a fantastic skill unless you're born as a prodigy.
Adachi: This world reflects people's thoughts. Which.. oh dear.. does that mean the real culprits are everyone on the outside, including you? Yosuke: To hell with that! You did that stuff knowing full well those people were gonna die! If that's not a crime, then what is!? Even from here you can tell that they gave up on responses to Adachi lol. Adachi didn't say anything about crime, yet that was mentioned. No wonder Adachi ignored most of them.
I just noticed something. If mankind all became shadows, and shadows are the bottled up negative emotions of mankind, that means everyone would die anyway's. So, Adachi was wrong! Everyone would die if they became shadows. But, it's just a theory...... A Persona Theory! XD
Malachi Danior Maybe he thinks " *The real world Is shit anyway, everyone hide dark secrets inside them so.. who cares if the Shadows world's fuses with our world. It would be the same shit that is happening in the actual world* "
Why are they making Adachi angry? The man has a gun and a Persona with power over lightning, wind, powerful slashes, and stat updates. Don’t piss him off
Hmm... Well they did say, reali-TEA is the hardest tea to swallow hehe~ So they decide to just look at what they only want to see~ But this err...boss guy whose name I forgot ,lol, just overlooked the possibility of overcoming stuff~ But yeah if one is bored they'd probably do something interesting hehe~ just so happens Adachi's fun is too disruptive~ And honestly if you got some power like that, then you'd either be afraid of it or try exploring it and make use of it~
Brody Said "Lets Get Personas" They Got Personas After This First Time Fighting (Brody Is The Red One) They Used Personas And Said "Persona!" They Are The The True Persona Rangers!
1:24 To be fair hes not lying every game it It's everybody on outside world fault. Get some gotten master was to come kill everybody or in slaved them.
