Hello, and welcome back to the channel!
In this edtiion of TransLink Trolleybuses, we have a deeper look at the E60LFR Fleet. The E60LFR fleet is a rarity within New Flyer's signature lineup throughout the late 2000s/early 2010s. Only three cities in Canada and the US run articulated low floor Trolleybuses, and Vancouver has the oldest fleet of them.
Four routes use these buses:
3 Main (January 2008, soft rollout)
8 Fraser (December 2009)
10 Granville (September 2013)
20 Victoria (April 2008)
All of these run north-south.

love the design of these guys. even though the fleet is nearing 20 years old, these buses still look brand new and are so pleasing to the eye. unlike the gen 2 LFS units produced around the same time which are just dreadful to look at.

Was just listening to TransLink's podcast on the trolleybuses. Can't imagine trying to operate one of the articulated ones. Thank you for documenting these, good video. :)

Idk why but these are my favourite of the fleet 😆 probably because they’re unique & nowhere else does this type exist

I have ridden 2112 on the 17 Oak, 18377 on the 33 29th Ave Stn, and 117 on the Canada Line - Waterfront while I was in Canada two days ago.

Hmm is Translink the only city in the world to use E60LFRs? I would’ve thought there’d be more than just Vancouver. Must’ve been an extremely expensive order for Translink considering how exclusive the buses are. I would’ve thought in a capitalist country like Canada, the buses would be more standardized and built for multiple transit agencies.

Juan, Did you spot this strange anomaly yesterday? The 19 was running on the 2018 novas, (plus a D40LF) did you by far spot it yesterday? +I've only rode the E60LFR'S 2 times lol, great video :D

I was on this site yesterday that shows what buses are out and I was surprise that there no E40LFR’s on this you also forgot to mention that there was 2009 Nova bus on this as well V9460
