"Twister... Ride It Out is a special effects simulation attraction located at Universal Studios Florida, based on the 1996 film Twister. It was announced in 1997 and replaced the Ghostbusters Spooktacular attraction in the New York area of the park. Why can't universal studios open an additional park called blast from the past and have all the old great attractions. Twister, jaws, King Kong, back to the future, T2 3D etc

Shame this ride is gone. I would have loved to have seen it. Just due to the practical effects alone. That being said. I'm sure someone now could probably replicate it.

Hey socal here's a tip when the show is about to start just pay attention to the lights behind you they go off a Fading and that's when the show starts Or when the red light above the tree in the center stage goes off as well

JDMSE3P I know here in L.A I want to get a taste of a tornado, know about earthquakes, but Californians don't know much about tornadoes. As do those in the midwest, the south and new england states.
