AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat is the solution to the harsh sea weather in Indonesia. AquaTec provides a variety of anti-sink boat that is very safe to be used to sail the sea. Suitable for fisherman, fishing hobbyist, diving, tourism, or even heavy equipment transportation. AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat will not sink in any weather condition, even when the hull is filled with water. Instead, a special design from AquaTec makes water to pour automatically from the back of the hull and therefore the deck is always dry. A wide and long body makes the boat very stable and not easily overturned. Even if the boat is overturned, the boat will still float, ensuring the safety of passenger.
AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat consists of a hull made of Prime Grade High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) floating device(s), giving buoyancy to the boat. HDPE material has longer lifetime and better impact durability than wood or fiber. The front of the floating device is flat to split water smoothly, while the back of the floating device is cone-shaped. Inside the floating device attached membranes to increase the safety of the boat. With innovative and revolutionary design, our products include: 1) Anti-sink Jukung, 2) Anti-Sink Catamaran, 3) Anti-Sink Pontoon.
AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat has been sold over 200 units throughout Indonesia. It is proven to be able to cross from East Java to Lombok, travelling 230km and facing a variety of sea weather in only 15 hours
High Quality Integrated Product - All components of AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat are manufactured in one location. The whole manufacturing processes are carried out in PT. Gani Arta Dwitunggal, Padalarang, Indonesia. All components have undergone strict quality control and therefore can fit perfectly with one another.
Anti-Sink - AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat consists of HDPE closed system cylindrical floating device. The boat will not sink when filled with water or even when turned upside down. It has thin front for cruising through water efficiently. Fisherman can go up to 5 miles offshore fishing ground without worry about bad weather. Increases the safety of fisherman.
Impact Resistant - AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat is made of Prime Grade High Density Polyetylene (HDPE) that flexible and impact resistant. It has higher strength and safety level than wood/fiber material. Prime Grade High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) is a new plastic that has not been recycled. It has much higher tensile strength than recycled plastic and has a lifetime up to 50 years.
Environmentally Friendly - Made from Prime Grade High Density Polyethylene (HDPE) that is environmentally friendly. Floating device is not filled with styrofoam or other materials that pollute the environment.
Completely Knock-Down - AquaTec Anti-Sink Boat consists of floating device and components that can be assembled and dismantled easily, therefore making the boat easy to store and transport.

Great start in idea. But, the inside of the closed in pipe needs to be filled with closed cell foam, then truly it will be unsinkable.

absolutely awesome! i agree filling with a foam would truly make them unsinkable. the current design is a massive step up from a fiberglass boat but you'd only need two holes worn or poked into the pontoon for it to start filling. given the amount of wear this boat would likely see, it would happen eventually. but even then your looking at years of good use and patching them really well is certainly possible to.

Great concept. The idea presents a shallow draft boat, very boyant, capable of handling rough water, and very repairable. If these pontoons were sold to custom order, it would be practical to build a catamaran pontoon boat for a very affordable price.

I am glad you mentioned the splashing, since this design will not be very suitable for rough ocean conditions. You were lucky to have a smooth first journey. The bow needs to be higher and also the shape of the hull needs to be curved upwards like a banana, with a straight pipe design it is not possible to achieve good rough weather capabilities. But the idea is good 👍⚓

Your idea is great, but if you build a platform on top of the tubular pipe like hulls, the weight of the platform forces them beneath the water. Making it a much smoother ride, because these hulls ride beneath the water like a torpedo, instead of on top of the water which is rough. You would have to place the outboards on the stilts or vertical beams that hold up the platform. This type of design is called a SWATH small waterline area twin hull. This is the future of all boating being, fishing, sailboats, ships & even ferries boats.

It’s a great start but unsinkable will not stop it from capsizing and drowning everyone on board. You have the perfect platform for solar panels overhead eliminating the need for imported fuels. But I would address the issue of drag first. Those pontoons can be shaped to cut through the water then widening gradually. That will increase speed, efficiency and reduce splashing/drag.They can even be raised so they don’t touch the water when you’re traveling at speed. And you have too many braces for the outriggers. You can reduce your weight considerably by eliminating half the braces.
@bruce2sail
@bruce2sail 3 года назад
A very nice solution to the problems you mentioned both with wooden and fiberglass boats. One point that the video did not answer was how does the boat handle turbulent waters and storm conditions? Often multihull boats are more stable capsized than upright, so it would be interesting to check that failure mode to see what can be done in the design to reduce the likelihood of a capsize.

Not long ago I was repairing a boat for a friend and boat next to his was nearly completed and before long ready to go out fishing.. I was not finished with my friends boat when same boat returned back to boat yard in need of repairs again... So I understand the idea of building a better boat that will not sink or broken and in need of repairs... Do not stop, refine idea further and build better boats... Your boats will be here long time after we are gone, this idea could be your mark in history.. Best of luck and good fortune to you....!

Environmental friendly, unsinkable you might be missing a few ingredients like storage for gear and gas, ice, batteries, fish holds, cab, cabin, shade setup for fishing during the day then the main ingredient rough water in open ocean have to try stationary and trolling then gas mileage and weight capacity is a another seasoning for another time. I can say those Freeman catamarans are a work of art

There is another guy who made a home made version of a boat like this. His RU-vid channel called Marjamada. His catamaran is called RebalCat. He made a few different videos on the subject between 2009 to 2012. It is nice to see a that someone else made a larger factory built boat like you did. 👍🙂👍

Great idea! You might want to consider adding a hydrofoil for better economy and faster speed. Best of luck with your project and let the trees grow!

I suggest you modify the damp that seals the end ofthe tube so that it produces a more hydrodynamic form to improve fuel efficiency. Also, why not seal the stern (back) of the tubes with a simple clamp seal ?

Pretty cool. Maybe look at adding retractable fins and adjustable transom for a hydrofoil effect.
