Many people break their own hearts by loving a fantasy not the person that stands before them.

As women our biggest mistake is dropping our guards when a man is testing us... Stop looking for “anything” to drop your standards for love. The love for you will never require you to drop your standards /guards for a relationship to exist.

She's lucky this is not her child's biological father. So many women wish to cut bonds with the baby daddy but cannot due obvious reasons. Its a blessing to be able to start fresh!!!

Its a difference between fighting for someone who love you and fighting for someone to love you. Self love is a long process that involve sacrifice, work, and discipline. Its have to be a lifestyle.

It took a minute, but I am completely convinced that this is 100% a servant of God. Hallelujah! It’s amazing how He is so great that he uses His children as vessels and sends His message and Holy word through them in layman’s terms. He is speaking through Tony in a language we understand and giving us the empowerment that many of us should have gotten from our fathers. Amazing. I think I need to get back on my mentor. I am a single mother of four and I feel like I could be a safe space for women who are not as far along on their journey. She does not need that man to help her raise her child.

I heard it said once before, "Stop collecting red flags"! It's been my experience women are very resistant to receiving sound and wise correction/advice. Very often we've heard wise correction before but dismissed it because the person was a hater or jealous. Or so we thought because they said something that was unpopular.

I'm confused. If he's not the father leave that fool alone. Even if he was the father leave him alone.

This is so sad, and embarrassing. And looping in a child with it makes it worse, poor example for him. I am a black woman, and it’s lifestyles like this that makes it frustrating to me to always hear us as a black community primarily blaming white ppl for our issues. Yes, racism is a thing, a very dangerous sad reality. I am not discrediting that at all. But we do have control of our life too. We have to take some accountability for the unnecessary drama we expose ourselves to. I’m happy Tony suggested life coaches, I hope she uses this.

I believe she's talking about 1 man and she's holding him to his word about staying an active father figure to her son. However, I think she needs to prepare herself for if and when he decides to change his mind. If she want him to stay in her son's life, she probably is gonna have to let go of romantic past and past agreements because he is indeed entitled to change it because he is not the father.
