Taemin’s my ult bias in all music, not just k-pop. He is an amazing singer (which gets overlooked because of his dancing), dancer, performer and unique artist. He’s not afraid to break the barriers between what is considered “male” and “female” dance moves because he said in dance all movements are not gender specific. He was picked by SM Ent at about 11 yrs old because of his dancing (he saw Michael Jackson and off he went), he self taught popping and locking, he couldn’t sing. His group SHINee (pronounced shiny) debuted in 2008, he being the youngest at 14 and the oldest was 18. As his vocal chords were developing he actually didn’t sing on their debut album. He is a fighter so he worked hard and learned to sing because of his hyungs/members Jonghyun and Onew (both are still considered amazing vocalist). Kai/EXO was a trainee at the same time but didn’t debut until 4-5 yrs later. Taemin also became the first member of a male group to go solo within SM Ent in 2014. He has had hundreds of sold out concerts in Korea and Japan (he’s still a top artist in Japan). Well! Taemin debuted at a young age (14) with SHINee in 2008. In 2014 he was the first soloist from his company SM to make his debut at just 21 years old. "Danger" was his debut song and the dance was inspired as a tribute to MJ who inspired him to dance and become a great artist. There he began his endless journey with music, dance and art that has only consolidated him as the most exceptional and iconic artist, singer, dancer and performer of all time with his own musical vision very different from what is often seen in singers, groups etc. He has managed to distinguish himself from the rest by being creative and innovative in the most artistic way possible and with top-notch performances that only he can do. In 2019 he made his debut again and was the first chosen by Lee Soo man to belong to SuperM. ADVICE was his last release before joining the military. I'm pretty sure they used henna to black out his hands for the piano scene, so the brown on his fingers is residual tinting from that.

I remember thinking his orange fingers were super weird as well, but I think it's because of the body paint at the start when he played the piano. They must have shot that first and his hands were stained. 😂
